Thanks......The extra shoulder strap makes it so much better than my Prada Saffiano Lux Tote....I was tempted to get another Prada in blue but then my DH preferred the Chanel Cerf Tote

Standing up. Don't think you really need the box. Just stuff it really well and store it in the dust bag.

Do you think the stuffing that comes in it when you buy it is sufficient, or should I add more? Also, I'm wondering if it's better to store it lying flat rather than standing up - I'm thinking that gravity might pull it down causing slouchiness!!!

Yes. I have the black with gold hdw as well. I bought one a few years ago, but returned it (black). However, this new black one that I bought feels sturdier than the previous one.

Do cerf totes come in only leather or are there other materials. Because I think I saw a beige cerf tote in ostrich or python (I think). It was beautiful & I want it.
