chanelll and poohbee5637,

I got mine cerf/executive tote from the Chanel boutique in Vienna last October, and didn't start using it till about 2 months ago. I've noticed two little problems, and was wondering if any of you cerf tote owners have had the similar problems with your very tote, and is it normal?

1. the two small side buttons used to attach the inside accessary pouch are very loose, the inside pouch is hard to stay buttoned all the time?

2. the trim of the handles have tiny cracks if bent?

thanks girls.

I was wondering how the detachable pouch fits into the Cerf bag. I haven't seen the bag in person. Does it look weird or like it's missing something without the pouch? Where does it snap in? Do you guys find it functional or useful, or do you just leave it out? Thanks!

It has two snaps on each end of the pouch, which connects to the two snaps in the interior. It does not look weird to me without it.

It's good if you want to be able to enclose anything that is important to zip up, such as your wallet, etc. Otherwise someone if they really wanted to could reach their hands in the purse and grab something out. However, my pouch would never stay snapped in place.

I agree, the pouch sometimes does not stay snapped into place, but when I carry this bag, I do keep my wallet in the pouch. I wouldn't be able to carry it without the pouch because I use it as a handbag, and I'd worry someone could just put their hand in the bag and steal my wallet without it. I don't mind that it doesn't stay snapped in place, I don't put that much in the pouch anyway.
