Just got a message from Saks sales associate. This seems to be the new versions of the Executive Tote - retails for US$3100.

I think I like the old design better. The handles seem a little weird. What are your thoughts?

I like the less boxy look better than the old and where the straps are situated. Shame the cc turn lock is now just for presentation and not usable. Not sure abt the handles. Guess I would have to wait to see it in person. I'm waiting for it to arrive in my country.

Which size is this one?

Here's are more photos of the new version. I don't think I'm feeling this one at all. :\

To purchase: you can can call Saks Fifth Avenue - Philadelphia, and look for Lauren Milstein.

Oh no, the precious Cerf Tote...as a 6ft 5 boy its the only large Chanel bag that fits my style and looks good and now they have changed it.

Really not feeling the new leather, looks very rigid and the obvious stitching makes it look a little dated, however i think if done in a better leather the handles might be a cute idea.

Glad I ran across this thread.....

The new version of the cerf is gorgeous in person. I like roomy bags and im currently debating between purchasing this or a quilted tote. I have been to the store twice over the past week weighing my options.

I plan to make my purchase by next week and im honestly leaning toward this one. This bag is very lightweight and roomy. I also think the stitching and design lend beautiful timeless qualities to the bag.

While researching the old/versus the new I think this version is the winner. It appears the old version stretches and loses shape easily, being as though its deerskin. My SA agree and said the calf holds the structure way better over time.
