Which shaper do you use for your cerf tote? TIA

Hi! I purchased it from an etsy seller called DivideAndConquer. I purchased the 13x5x6 shaper and it's perfect. I'm a little crazy and also made plastic inserts for the two outter pockets, which I think really helps, too! :) My bag was purchased in March 2014 and still looks perfect.

I heard about the new colors today also. Beige, dark navy, camel, and black. Small $3100n next $3300 and larger one $3500

Have you heard when this new style is coming to the boutiques? I never got the chance to locate the combination that I wanted and this new style seems interesting. Do you also know if the new style comes in both gold and silver hdw?

Hi Ladies

I have a quick question.

I haven't been using my cerf tote so it was in my cupboard for a while. I stuffed it with bath towels and unfortunately it lost its shape. I've kept it hanging on my door knob for a week now and it has retained most of its shape.

Now Im worried about placing it back in storage again. What's the best way of storing it that will help my bag keep its shape

Thanks

People say laying it down and stuffing the bag makes it stay in shape better.

I purchased inserts for stuffing my bag when not in use from Bag-A-Vie. You can google their site and they list all of the more popular bags under brand category and it will recommend the size, placement and how many to purchase for each particular bag style. They are beautiful and beautifully made. When stuffed, my Cerf is in the dust at standing upright on my closet shelf. I use these in my GST and LV Speedy 30 as well. The size Medium works for all 3 bag styles, so you don't need multiple sets. I use the same set for a few bags as I rotate.

Hi Ladies
I'm new to the Cerf tote club and happy to hear your thoughts and advises! I bought a black petite Cerf tote at my local NM store yesterday. I love it although it is on the small side. There were no other ones at the store and I also went to Saks. The SA checked nationwide but there were no black petite or medium size available . I was lucky to get the old price 2500 for this bag.
I would like to know if there are anyone who owns a petite, what their thoughts are about this size.

Thanks Havanese! I was actually trying to find an everyday work bag that I don't have to baby. Something that can carry my laptop *all the time* without losing its shape. Maybe I am asking too much from the bag. lol.

Odette have you considered the Ferragamo Batik bag? My friend carries the large which fits her work laptop and documents, and it looks great. She doesn't baby her bags at all and she's used it over a year now. I would add that it does lose its structure a bit so it flops a bit when standing up without anything in it because it's softened but otherwise a sturdy material and bag!

Nonetheless I am still really coveting the Cerf tote..I bought the small Givenchy Antigona for work at the moment, which fits all my essentials, but would love something that could also fit A4 documents for work purposes. Does the small Cerf fit A4 docs comfortably?

I actually haven't thought of getting a Batik, but now that you mentioned I will think of getting it. I do have a Ferragamo Sofia and I love it (in rotation with my Reissue for everyday purse). :smile1:

Hi Cerf Tote Lovers,

Should I should get a tote or a seasonal flap that's almost like a Maxi if the the dimensions are somewhat similar the 2 bags (assuming that price difference is not an issue)? I would like something that is versatile and gives me mileage. Am torn as I have 2 season small flap bags and thought that a Maxi would be a "duplication" to my humble collection.

Would appreciate your views! Thanks!
