Well here's an update.. They found me another Caissa Hobo in RB[emoji2] picking it up on Friday. This time if the screws get loose we are getting locktight and fixing it, they won't replace it again.

But they should fix it if again there is a similar issue since it's a known defect. Hopefully this new bag comes from a diffferent batch.


I understand the thread locker thing, cause hubby said if I love the bag so much, he'll do the same 😀

I have my replacement Caissa Hobo RB! So happy I could get another one as there are none in Australia and this one was found in a storage facility that wouldn't show up in the system when they were looking!

Yaaaay!!! Congrats! It's such a beautiful bag. I returned my Cerise a few weeks back and ended up repurchasing it once they were available on the website again. This time it was made the week of Aug. 31st so I'm hoping they were able to fix the screws on this newer batch. Crossing fingers!

Does anyone know if the defect problem with the screws have been resolved? I
Like this bag, wanting to buy it. Thanks ladies

They don't really admit there was a problem in the first place, and out of how many were the screws not holding in properly? It may have been just a few. Well you can buy one knowing if there is a problem you can always take it into them. With mine they wouldn't put in as a repair but only as a replacement. After many weeks one turned up and was made in September. I absolutely LOVE this bag! It was literally only a week old when I got it! :p

I Asked my SA Alot of Questions, she told me they had sold some but no issues were coming in the San Francisco store, so I ordered both the Hobo and the tote. They are so nice ,got red lining , can"t wait to use them

Thanks Sandie. I'm thinking to take my chances then, because it's a beautiful bag. :)
