congrats
hope the leather doesn't peel....why do you think it will?

Twins! Congrats! I've only carried mine a few times, but other than a slight rub mark it came with, it doesn't seem exceptionally delicate.

Thanks ladies for your compliments.
I had a bronze prada and it peeled like mad at the corners. You can refer to post #30 in the link below.

So I am not expecting too much from this bronze borough. But i really love this color. So hack! :D

maybe your Coach bag will hold up better than the Prada
Although Prada is much more expensive, there have been quite a few people complaining on TPF about the quality in recent years

I have faith in Coach that their bags are not less than other brands and are improving. Lets keep our fingers (and toes) crossed. :p

I am hoping to hunt down the borough version without the side zippers. There isn't any of this displayed in local boutiques. Hope I can try my luck elsewhere like ebay.

So happy with this bag!

Since this is a thread about Boroughs, I have a question for Borough fans: do y'all think this bag will look dated soon since it is no longer in production? I have 2 minis that I love dearly, and have considered getting a regular or large that can hold my iPad Air for a trip to Europe next fall (a professional conference in the Netherlands that will have attendants from all over the world), but I hesitate in case its time is over by then. What do y'all think?

Personally I think the Borough is a classic style....more timeless than trendy.

I think the minis will look more dated than the regular sized ones. This is an infinitely timeless style. But with the way cell phones are trending, you might have to rethink those slip pockets.

enjoy your bag
I'm liking mine. I usually don't carry a structured bag but I like this one.

I do dislike how Coach continuously removes bags as I think there should be some that are more current style in their lineup that they keep. If I were to choose one, yup, it would be the Borough. I absolutely love the bag and have it in 3 styles. Because of its design, I don't see it trending as it is a classic shape and style. I truly plan to bring out mine again this spring.

I don't think it will be dated
and unless it's the fashion industry or you have friends going who are into handbags, I doubt anyone would be judging your bag

The borough is actually the bag that got me back in Coach, after years of not purchasing. Before that, I've only bought small accessories from them, save for one Lindsay.

Well, it's a conference for dressage trainers and instructors. Dressage is the equestrian sport of choice for the 1%ers who are afraid of jumping or going too fast. I'm the magazine editor-in-chief for the sponsoring organization, so I'll have to meet & greet. But a lot of trainers and instructors are regular people like me. So I'll probably be just fine.

You'll be better than fine. Classic is always in style. BTW, being in dressage, do you happen to know Ulf Wadeborn?
