I'd be terrified if the delivery man brings my bags to my neighbors! I'm actually expecting a package delivery right now, for my vintage Kelly 28... it says "Item presented to import Customs" for quite a while now, and I'm just waiting for the system to update, or for the delivery man to knock on my door! I'm travelling to London tomorrow and I'm really hoping to get the bag before leaving

I also have a Longchamp Le Pliage Neo! I'm thinking about getting a new one too. It's so lightweight and convenient with the zipper on top.

So right! I have the LP in all available types; it's impossible to pick a favorite. But the Neo is def a tough combo to beat; long strap, zipper, nylon. I'd love to get more in different sizes some day.

2. How do you store and organize your handbags?
Lightly stuffed, upright on shelves in ROYGBIV rainbow order, "naked" (no dust bags) so I can see them when I get dressed. They look like a store display and make me very happy!

3. What was the first bag that you purchased?
First ever - A plastic novelty bag that looked like a folded Vogue magazine
First premium / luxury bag - A small Prada half moon shaped shoulder bag in blanco calf leather

4. What is your newest handbag?
Chanel grey lamb single flap jumbo with silver Bijoux chain

5. What is your most expensive bag?
Most expensive purchase (cost to me):

Luckily, I haven't had any drama.

I mostly buy preloved so my favorite way to buy is from individuals on eBay because that usually yeilds the best new/like new condition bags for the best price.

I adore every premier bag I own except for two I plan to sell. So my favorite changes daily. Right now, I'm crazy about my two Miss Dior Sliding Chain bags - one in cobalt blue lamb, the other in hot pink lamb

9. What is your least favorite bag?
Premier - Proenza Schouler Small Courier in silver
Contemporary - Coach Burgundy Patent Willis
But these are least favorites. I still like them.

10. What is your next handbag purchase?
Probably a much needed TBD premier designer leather satchel for work in bordeaux, camel or grey leather.

11.What is your dream handbag?
I don't really have a dream or holy grail handbag because I love so many different ones from different brands. But, I do have a few special bags that I plan to acquire in the next 2-3 years

2. How do you store and organize your handbags? In their dust bags (stuffed) and placed on shelves in the closet.
3. What was the first bag that you purchased? A leather bag in Italy, sold in the open market in Catania. No name brand, but it was of amazing quality.
4. What is your newest handbag? A Bottega Veneta Intrecciato Hobo, Medium, Pacific Blue
5. What is your most expensive bag? Valextra New Madison Work Tote.
6. What was your most dramatic handbag buying experience? Having the delivery man bring my handbag to the neighbor's house. Thank goodness for honest neighbors!
7. What is your favorite store to buy handbags? That's hard to say. I've had my best experiences at Valextra and at Ralph Lauren.
8. What is your current favorite bag? Ralph Lauren Soft Ricky. I can't put it back!
9. What is your least favorite bag? I don't know. I like them all.

1. How many luxury handbags do you own?
Around 25 (mid-range and high-end). High end only is around 20 so about 5 mid-range bags.

2. How do you store and organize your handbags?
Store them on the top shelf of my closet in their dustbags. About five of my most commonly used bags, I put in the dustbags and hang them on the hook on closet door. I also stuff all the bags with air paper.

3. What was the first bag that you purchased?
First bag ever? No idea.
First mid-range was a Coach black leather bag in the later 90s.
First high end bag was a Burberry backpack in the early 2000s.

6. What was your most dramatic handbag buying experience?
I bought a Jimmy Choo lambskin bag off Saks Online a couple years back. First and last time ever using Saks Online. The bag came with chain stored inside the bag for shipping (like it should have been) but the bag was COVERED in scratches from the chain. Since the chain was stored inside the bag for shipping, the chain did NOT scratch the bag during shipping. The bag had to have been covered in scratches before they ever packed it. I guess that they packed up a floor model and sent it to me, hoping that I wouldn't mind that it looked like crap. Had to get a refund which was also a pain. That incident has totally turned me off Saks Online (and Saks in general). I'll stick to Neiman Marcus. I have bought several bags online from NM over the years with absolutely no issue so they will continue getting my business.

7. What is your favorite store to buy handbags?
Neiman Marcus. I don't live near any boutiques or near high end department stores so I do the majority of my shopping online. For boutiques, I like Dior best...now they know how to do customer service.

8. What is your current favorite bag?
It changes constantly. Right now, I am rocking my Fendi By the Way bag, but I'll probably switch out soon.

9. What is your least favorite bag?
A Matt and Nat bag I got for Christmas last year. Horrendous quality (especially for the price) but I haven't gotten rid if it yet since it was a gift.

10. What is your next handbag purchase?
I would like a Dior Promenade bag (unsure of color)

Don't really have a dream bag.

1. How many luxury handbags do you own?
I'd say around 12, including clutches and not including those that are still on sale (I have been downsizing).

2. How do you store and organize your handbags?
A couple are stored away in their dustbags. Others are stuffed and in display in my closet where there is enough space, not clutered. Clutches are stored in vintage letter holders or flat, with or without dustbags depending on the use they are getting.

3. What was the first bag that you purchased?
My first luxury brand bag was a Loewe crossbody that I got as payment for private math lessons. The first luxury bag I bought myself, while living in Italy in the 90s was a very minimal Prada patent bucket bag. I still have it.

4. What is your newest handbag?
Gucci Soho Disco.

5. What is your most expensive bag?
Difficult to say, as prices change so much...

6. What was your most dramatic handbag buying experience?
Not "buying" exactly but for my 18th birthday my mom gave me a Loewe Amazona bucket bag. I thought it was so conventional and not my style (I believe I was going through a new-romantic soft-gothic phase...), I was furious with her for buying me something she liked and wanted me to wear. To this day I regret this and still wonder where that beautiful bag is...

None in particular.

My Balenciaga Bazar clutch.

9. What is your least favorite bag?
I have got rid of all the bags I didn't like/wear.
But of the ones I have owned I think the last favorite was the PS1 because it was such a disappointment relative to expectations.

A Gucci Animalier Disco and an Hermes Garden Party. Maybe.

11.What is your dream handbag?
None really, but if I have to choose one I own: a vintage baby croc clutch I have inherited from my mother in law who got it made in Africa where she lived at the end of the 60s/ early 70s. It is quite incredible and obviously (and for good reason) could not be produced today.
And one I don't own: a 70s Hermes Constance in cloth & leather in pristine condition. But I don't know, I feel like the brand has devalued and lost its aura in recent times...

Glass display is what I'm planning to do in my next apartment. Is there a reason why you prefer boutiques instead of department stores? I heard department stores have really good rewards?

No particular reason! I've never really used the department store rewards (No cards for any of them) and just tend to gravitate to the boutiques more.

Glass displays are great! The one I got was $69 and it shows all my bags beautifully when they're out of the dustbags.
