Thanks so much for your thoughts! I'm definitely sold on it and can't wait to purchase! Sounds like a perfect fit for my needs and lifestyle. At this point I'm just holding out to see if any other colors become available as we head into the warmer months. I will post a pic when I get it!!
Check out this new color that just came out on the U.S. Mulberry website! I wish they would offer Rose Water again. I’d buy Rose Water in a second.

Yes the rosewater colour is very unique and a good neutral. I was lucky enough to bag a Lily in rosewater in the sale last summer and it's beautiful - one minute it looks quite a muted pink/peach/blush and the next minute in different lighting it looks more of a muted cream colour, hard to describe but goes with everything and very understated. Mulberry still puts a few rosewater coloured bags in their sales so stay positive and don't forget to keep looking!

Small zipped bays in light salmon silk calf leather. Patiently waiting (and hoping) it will go on sale, and finally it did!

That’s great! I always get too impatient to wait for the sales, then it goes on sale two weeks later-lol. A quick question about the light salmon color. Ever since this color was released it’s been difficult for me to tell from online photos if this bag is more of an orangey nude color, more pinkish, or just a neutral beige nude. Can you please tell me your take on the color from seeing it in person? Thank you so much!

Hello,
I, too, have a hard time capturing this color myself as well! Even at the store (due to lighting) I was noticing the color appears to be different as compare to the website color. I would say it is a mixed of nude/beige with slightly pinkish undertone at certain lighting. I don't see any orangey tone in it. The photo from the official website is very realistic. The photo I took is also pretty realistic as well. I guess another thing worth mentioning is that the pipping (the edge) on the bag is a shade slightly darker, so when one pays attention to the pipping, it can gives a slightly pinkish/nude vibe of the overall color of the bag, if that makes sense...Hope this helps :)

Thanks so much! We don’t have a Mulberry boutique in Charleston so I’ve been trying to guess at the color since it came out. I think I was put off because of the name they gave it, because salmon (the fish) can go either way. They picked a horrible name for such a pretty color-lol. Thank you again!

I took out my older zipped bays in dark blush, grained leather, and put both bags side by side for comparison. The dark blush bays has more mauve tone in it ( and the hardware is more golden as well). The light salmon bays is a bit more beige ( it comes with light/champagne hardware).
hope this helps :)

Thank you!! This is exactly what I was wondering about. I was hoping the light salmon would be more of a true nude, and seeing the bags side by side helps put the colors in perspective. I also like the champagne gold better than the dark gold hardware. I’m going to check online and see if I can pick it up on sale!

Hello everyone! I'm still new in my pursuit of a fabulous handbag collection. I made my first purchase a few years ago, a wonderful LV Neverfull with my monogram. I'm ready for my next acquisition and have decided that the small Mulberry Byswater fits the bill. If you don't mind, I have a few questions about the product.

I saw a couple of mentions of sales in this forum. When do the sales happen? Are they announced to the public?

What would be a good, classic color to buy? I don't care for black, but would love some suggestions.

Thank you all so much!

Hi, Tricia!

I don’t live near a Mulberry boutique, so I rarely get in on the sales. I’ve seen online sales, as past season colors that didn’t sell out go on sale as the new season is being released. The newest season is usually marked up a bit higher than their basic neutrals that are available year round. I did pick one up from Selfridge’s at significant savings a few years ago, so it pays to shop around.

My favorite non-black neutral is oxblood. If you’re looking for a nude, there’s a new dark golden calf out, but it’s priced higher than the basic colors.

I have 5 of the mini zipped size (which isn’t mini at all-lol). Sadly, many Mulberry bags (including the zipped Bayswater) are no longer made in England, and the mini zipped Bayswater has very few colors available compared to the small size. I’ve moved onto Ferragamo and Alextra. They don’t cost much more and have way better color choices in a similar size range, plus they maintain the highest quality and don’t send production to Turkey or other overseas factories. Have fun shopping for your lovely new bag!

Hi Leila!
Thanks so much for your reply! I was looking at the ox blood and I agree, that could be a great neutral! I almost bought a small zipped Bayswater in red last week on sale but by the time I got it in my cart and went to check out, it was gone. I need to type faster, LOL! Can I ask you about bag size? I carry around a long zipped wallet, my phone, a make-up bag and two glasses cases. Would these things fit in a mini or would I need a small?
