I had the same exact crease after barely using my purse. I exchanged mine as a one time courtesy from LV. I have used my new purse so far maybe 3 times, store it stuffed and now I see the beginnings of a crease starting again. This is BS from LV. It is a defect. If you check this thread there are others with this crease- I took mine, armed with pics from others with creases. How could they deny it then?
Not everyone seems to develop the crease and it seems to mostly occur on mono although I have seen DA and DE with it too. How can LV deny this? It occurs and in the same exact place. This is unacceptable for a $1k bag. Why would LV want clients walking around with a purse looking like that to represent their brand? If I saw this I wouldn’t think LV makes quality products. I regret this purchase soooo much. Don’t stop till you get the results you want. Good luck.
 
Did they respond after what you said? That was very well written by the way - go you.

I would certainly accept store credit, so they should offer it to people with items within the 1 year period

Unfortunately, LV never responded back to me which is very sad. Thanks to this forum for the support though. At least some human kindness was shown here unlike the LV SF store manager and client services/corporate.

So happy to be a member of the Favorite Club!!! Waited patiently since the winter holidays for an MM in DE and I got the call from my SA yesterday.

I literally just bought my Favorite MM in DE less than an hour ago from my LV store. (please excuse my 2 cats photobombing, they seem to like the Favorite too)

I literally just bought my Favorite MM in DE less than an hour ago from my LV store. (please excuse my 2 cats photobombing, they seem to like the Favorite too)

Congrats, we are Bag twins! :drinks: I got mine in August and it’s been my most used bag since then. I have so many bigger ‘better’ more expensive bags, but this one suits me so much better for everyday. It’s so versatile, I don’t feel like I need to change it often.
Ps, I love your cats, they’re so cute!

Aww, Thank you! So happy we were able to get the Favorite ❤️I agree this is such a great little bag for daily use— I am so used to big bags and I wanted a small , carefree but elegant bag. My 2 cats are always following me around my home,and curious.. they’re like little puppies almost!

Hi all, this is an update on my new bag... my 2nd favourite MM is having creasing issue after 8 months... I bring my back to the store and the tell me they will file a report to QR team to verify is this a defact... I am so upsad about it... they want me to wait for 3-4 weeks for the QR report to be release.


Here is the update about my second lv favourite mm creasing issue.

Aug 31th, 2017
I filed a report to LV QR team by walking in to the store, with a random SA by showing my bag for the SA I use to deal with is on leave. The new SA taken the photo of the bag and mention he will create the complain report later. Then I walk off from the store with out taking the new SA contact details.

Sept 5th, 2017
After waited for a month I decided to call in the customer hotline to ask for status by providing my name. To my surprise the help desk mention they cannot locate the complain report that raised under my name. this make me crazy. I tell them o am up sad about it for I did walk in to file the report. The help desk try to comfort me saying they will get the SA to return me a call regarding to the report status.

Oct 9th,2017
SA contacted me asking me to provide the date code for my Lv Favourite MM for this is missing from complain that he raised and hinting me that I can consider to top up and exchange with other bag.

Nov 7th, 2017
- I follow-up with SA, SA said no update from QR team.
- SA try to persuade me to change other bag

Nov 10th 2017
- I follow-up with SA, SA says no update

Dec 21st,2017
- I follow-up with SA, SA says no update
- SA try to persuade me to change to other bag

Jan 18th, 2018
SA update me that QR team still not coming back with the report and SA foresees I will never get the update from QR team.

Feb 1,2018
I have tired of waiting, I have decided to return the creasing lv favourite MM to exchange store credit and top up to buy speedy b 30 in DE.

Summary:
I waited for 5 months and LV QR team did not realease the report on why may second LV favourite MM is creasing.

Why it is so hard to have the SA to says “we are sorry and we admit this is a product defect. Due to this reason we are willing to exchange this bag with the store credit and you can use it for you next purchase?”....

This is my experience... I wish those who love LV Favourite MM... do not need to go through this...

Hello Everyone! I just snagged a DE Favorite MM at my local LV. And it’s Made In France (which I was looking for, as I’m finding the USA pieces to be subpar craftsmanship). The date code is the 49th week of 2017. It arrived at the boutique in January and had been on hold for another client who never picked it up.

A few questions....will this date code still have that dreaded crease problem across the front? Am I too old for this bag? I’m approaching mid forties and usually carry a bigger bag for day. My intention was to use this as an evening bag...as a clutch or with the chain, or pick up the Felicie chain for a longer look.

Also...should the strap have its own dustbag or are my expectations just too high? Haha!
None of my LV pieces have a sesperate bag for the strap but was wondering about this one.

I've only had the favourite mm for a couple of months now. I'm also mid 40's and never thought I might be to old for it. To be honest it never popped in my head because it's really just a simple design doesn't scream out young funky/trendy to me.

I've found it great for quick errands and for travel, times when I need quick access and hands free. I've not used it as evening bag yet but can imagine the chain used as shoulder carry would look nice and elegant.
My strap never came with its own dustbag either. The canvas has been reformulated for the favourite im told, but dont know when they implimented this, hopefully it won't ever develop the dreaded creasing.

Me too been a challenge to get the bag . Think I stalked nearly 2 months online early hours for it. Actually come think of it practically all the items I own from them has been like that. Or it has been the last bag they have instore. The only item I have that I could get easily with them was the clemence wallet.
I really like my favorite mm it's just so practical and functional not too big not too small, needed a bag like this for such a long time. Im glad to hear you enjoy using yours too :smile:
