So if my wallet was made in Spain and the date code is CA - where in Spain is that?
The exact same thing happened to me today at the downtown San Francisco store. SA said that is how it is. I said the bag was normal when I bought it and I didn't expect the crease to occur. SA then asked if I was okay with not having the bag for up to 8 weeks which I was fine with. He gave me a repair slip, put my purse in a plastic bag for assessment by the store and was told I would be contacted within 48 hours with the determination. He said they may send the purse for repair but it doesn't make sense how they would repair the crease...I just let it go. Asked the SA if people often came in with the same issue on the purse and he said no. Wish I got the assessment results on the spot... Will update with the results...
Yes, I learned the crease will happen, some people's bag has more noticeable crease, some has less noticeable crease, it doesn't bother me any more, I tell myself no bag will be perfect, even the best designed bags such as Neverfull has no zipper closure; the Artsy a bit too close to the armpit; the Eva will tear at the corners; the Delightful will slip sometimes; the Speedy classic is impractical; the Speedy b opening is smaller; the Twice doesn't carry as much; the Noe stick out too much; etc.
Every one of them has flaw or flaws, I just needs to look for the features and elements that matter most to me and accept the flaw(s).
How do you like be monogram strap with it? I snagged a mono favorite mm right before Christmas and am still waiting to get the strapI finally got my hands on a Favorite MM in monogram. I have been stalking the website and one finally popped up so I snagged it and had it shipped to my local store. When I went to pick it up, the SA said he was shocked that I found it. Well, I finally got the assessment results back and they determined the crease was due to “normal wear” and that is it normal for the crease to occur. I guess that is the quality of LV purses that they are proud of. I’m no longer supporting LV. Also it does not make sense if others were able to get an exchange or store credit from the same issue... is there anything I can do?

I love the monogram strap! It’s so comfortable to wear and I love that it can be adjusted. It also has minimal vachetta so I don’t worry about wear and tear. Totally worth the money in my opinion!
Yeah that's basically what the SAs told me would happen. It sucks that it happened like that. My Favorite PM looks exactly like that with the crease. *sigh* oh well. I don't think there is anything else we can do? Unless someone else knows something.
Thanks for the update. I was going to make a special trip to send mine out but now I know it's really not worth it. I'll be cautious when I buy another item from LV. I already have a handful of handbags from LV and Gucci and the Favorite is the first bag to have issues.
That’s awful!! I’m worried now. I just bought one right before Christmas. I wonder if I should return mine?? How long have you had yours?
Mine looks exactly like hers and I've had mine 1 year exactly. I have a few other bags so I don't use it that much, which really annoys me that it happened.
