I recieved mine yesterday. I called customer service and they said that nothing has changed on the favorite, but it's obviously not the same canvas. It's the same soft canvas that is used in their hobos like the delightful. They also said it is getting discontinued [emoji22] I don't know what to do with it. I really want it but the canvas makes me sad. You can feel the difference just taking it out of the dust bag.
After much deliberation, I've decided not to sell my Favorite. I have a really bad track record of selling a bag and then regretting and repurchasing [emoji23] Even with all the issues, it's still such a beautiful bag!
my favorite mm mono still holds up well after 1 year and 2 months .. I even went to the club with her and still looks perfectly fine. I haven´t used it a lot but I think it have worn her at least 10-20 Times during this time. Most of the time she sits stuffed in my closet ..so I hope the best

I didn't realize that I could get an exchange until reading all the posts here today. My question is that since my bag is almost 2 years old, is there any chance I could get an exchange or store credit? I also purchased it in Europe during our last trip, but I live in US. Will the store still honor the purchase?
My Favorite just doesn't seem to stay closed securely. Does anyone else have that problem or is it just how this bag is designed?
Unless my bag is overstuffed where the top flap can't even reach the other magnet, my bag stays closed pretty well. Maybe ur magnet isn't that strong?

So I have something a little like that on the upper right side of my bag in the front and on the back of my bag. But it's not really as noticeable as the crease so I haven't paid much attention to it. If it concerns you, take it into LV and see what they say
Hi all, I saw that my message from last year was quoted, so I wanted to weigh in and let ya'll know what happened with my bag. I did take it in to LV to ask if there was anything they could do to repair the waves. Mine had waves on the front flap, but not on the back. I thought they could somehow "iron" it or something. They looked at it and said at first that the waves are due to the lining on the underside of the flap being stitched. Something like that. Then they asked me if I stuffed it when not using it. When I said "Not until I noticed the waves", they told me that was why. And to go home and stuff it until the waves are gone.
They didn't seem interested in my concern. I asked to speak with a Repair Manager and she said there wasn't anything wrong with it. They said there isn't a repair code in the system for this issue. So I left disappointed they wouldn't even acknowledge my concern.
I ended up selling my Favorite because I couldn't bear to see whether the waves would get worse. It's such a pretty bag, my first LV. I was really sad to be disappointed in it like that.
So I guess the bottom line is that according to LV, the waves aren't a defect...
Are the waves something that affects the bags usability or is just a looks thing? I haven't even used my DA Favorite yet (waiting for warm weather!) and I see so much talk about this issue and I'm just wondering whether its something to really be concerned about. How does it affect the use of the bag?
As far as I know the waves won't effect the functionality. I'm sure everyone's concern is that if they get bad enough the bag will look funky.
Right now the strongest assumption is that the magnet must be somehow causing it. But it seems to really be a hit or a miss :/
