Hi all! My first time posting in the clubhouse, though I've posted a few times in the regular threads. Ive only got one LV bag and it's my Favorite! I have sort of a silly question though. I bought my bag in Dec 2012. I don't use it often at all, maybe a total of four months since then. I noticed last year that the flap developed these "waves" on it. Like, when a piece of paper gets wet and dries...and the paper gets wavy? I can feel the waves when I run my hand over the flap. Is this normal?

I thought it happened because I got caught in the rain once. I put my bag under my shirt but it got a little wet. Does monogram do this when wet? Or is it because I didn't stuff it with paper when I wasn't using it? I stuff it now ever since I noticed the waves. I took a picture but the waves are pretty hard to see...there are three "dips" in the canvas across the width of the flap.

If anyone could tell me what they think I would greatly appreciate it! Thank you!

It was $90 a couple months ago. I ended up going with an Eva strap which was more but more functional for me. My original strap got stuck in my steering wheel. It was really dramatic.

So I have something a little like that on the upper right side of my bag in the front and on the back of my bag. But it's not really as noticeable as the crease so I haven't paid much attention to it. If it concerns you, take it into LV and see what they say

I noticed some waves on my bag but I haven't been too concerned about it because I'm still really excited to have it [emoji5] here are some pictures. Does anyone else see the unevenness?

Yeah, I saw quite many on the market look like that, some are much worse.

I gotta say, the Favorite is a beautiful bag but all these defects are ridiculous. You expect more from a brand like LV.

I believe it's $120 as a repair part.

Yes! Mine is like this! It gets worse. Iv only had mine since Feb and have worn her a few times a week since then.

Yeah I noticed these 3-4 months ago (got the bag in October) and it seems to be getting worse. No clue what to do about it :/

Hi, thank you for posting photos. I have not seen this on my bag, only the wavy effect by the magnet. Also a little wavy on the top right of the flap.
Your back doesnt look bad at honestly. Do you keep something in the little slip pocket?

Has anyone ordered a favorite mm in damier ebene in the past month online? I just recieved mine and the canvas is not the same thickness as my other favorite. This one is very soft and flimsy.

I thought I was going crazy! I have the PM DE and decided to get the MM since I didn't want to miss out in case it gets discontinued. I received my shipment today. The canvas is very soft and pliable, making me think it will lose its shape. I pulled out my DA PM, DE PM and monogram MM to compare...you are correct, the new DE is flimsy in comparison. Are you going to keep yours?
