I'm going back and forth deciding whether I should get another Favorite MM. I have an azur and would like an DE. But the crease problem is putting me off. Mine seems to be fine, but I've only had it for three months.

I like this bag a lot and don't want to miss out if it is true that they have discontinued it. Just not sure what to do

I have the same issue. Has the mm Azur and loved the size but sometime wished It was an all weather bag( I've had the Azur for over a year) . It's the perfect small cross body bag. I've just brought it in mm DE last month and I'm so glad I did.

Not everyone gets a crease.
I guess it depends on if you feel you would use both and what else you have in your collection

I would definitely use both. It is a perfect small bag, very elegant. I can see myself using it for years since I doubt it will look dated. LV is great for big bags, as well as more adventurous models lately. But I prefer simple models and smaller bags. That's why I think another one in DE would make sense for me.

Hi everyone!

I used to own a Favorite MM but sold it. I've been back in the market for a crossbody and had my heart set on the Pallas clutch until I saw how short the strap was (I'm around 5'7) and I just couldn't justify spending that kind of money on such a small bag that I'd have to buy either another strap or a strap extender for. So I'm back to getting a Favorite.

How common is the crease problem?! This is really putting me off and making me reluctant to buy. Is there anything that can be done to prevent this? I read somewhere that it's happening because people are pulling the flap up and can be prevented by putting your hand under the magnet to pull it up. Is there any truth to this? I just don't want to spend this kind of money if Louis Vuitton can't manage their quality anymore!

It seems to be hit or miss. I don't think it has anything to do with storage or the way you open the bag...if it's defective, the crease will eventually show. One of my old favorites developed a crease though I had only carried it a couple of times. Months later I took it out and saw the crease. I think the majority of issues were with the 2014 and 2015 bags. Recently, we've been seeing a lot fewer bags with issues.

It's clearly a design flaw so I don't think that you can do anything to prevent it. I think that in addition to the production date the most important factor is which canvas you choose. My one year old Favorite MM in DA has absolutely no signs of creasing and I have never heard about a crease on a DA bag. :hrmm:

I owned a DA MM that developed a crease and I've seen other ones on sale with creasing. I just think we don't hear about it as much because DE and monogram are the more popular prints purchased. The crease is also harder to see on DA. I think you are very correct about the design flaw though.

Yesterday I went into the store, they had 3 to show me, 2 MM 1 PM, but I didn't buy any because they were not sure whether the style has been discontinuing, the SA said they were told the favorite is not going to be restocked in 2017, I don't know what does that mean or whether that information was official.

I'm wondering if there is anything to do with super fake bags, last night I saw someone posted a fake Favorite online to sell, I totally couldn't tell it from authentic ones from the pictures she posted, even the date code looked right, and I have seen many fakes, that super fake favorite really was so real if wasn't the seller saying it was a fake.

Maybe LV realizes many super fake Favorite (and Eva clutch, I saw a super fake eva the other day too) in the market so that they decide to discontinue or pause the production?
I was told the same thing when I was in the store just last Sunday (less than a week ago). My mom and I were there for a Mother's Day event and she was looking for a small clutch (specifically an Eva Clutch). I knew they didn't have any Eva Clutches in stock so I asked about the Favorite. My SA told me that there were no Favorites in stock and that both bags have been retired. But it seems like everyone's hearing different information. Then to add to the confusion, I was browsing online and I saw that there are some available on the US website as of yesterday. If anyone is looking for one then you might want to check it out!

Is that just me? I have tried on Favorites, I felt it looks good as a clutch or cross body, but doesn't hang well as a shoulder bag. That's why I have not jump the gun even I have had opportunities. I'm waiting for the next new design bags that LV coming up with.

IMG_0188.jpg Hi everyone! Ive had this favorite MM for more than a year now but I rarely use it. I just noticed it has developed a crease and its really bothering me. Anyone experienced this? Anyone knows if they could do an exchange or give store credit for this given that ive had this for more than a year now? Thanks in advance for any feedback.

I would definitely take it in and show it to them. I can't see how that would hurt :) And honestly if they're like 'oh we've never seen this before!', just show them the numerous photos in this thread.
