The metal that the magnet attracts to is what is between the fabric lining and the canvass. The gold tone bar that says "Louis Vuitton" is actually the magnet. So just take a strong magnet and move it back and forth on the under side of that (mine has a couple of screws there). It doesn't scrape or scratch the metal. It works even if the two magnets repel each other :smile1:

Sorry if this comes through 2 times, I can't see my reply. I ended up getting the pochette metis. I hope I don't have a problem with her as so many have had problems with it as well. It's my favourite bag! I got a store credit for the favorite until I decided what I wanted. I love the favorite though, I miss that bag. Now I want an alma bb, the addiction never ends!

Hi guys I have a question, I am considering getting the favorite in monogram mm however I've heard that the plate gets scratched easily and LV replace it for free? Is this true? Has anyone in the uk had experience of this? I'm also worried about creasing ! Thanks in advance xx

Hey guys,

This might help with the creasing. Store your bag with a clean hand towel and let part of it hang out the front so the flap isn't touching the bag. ImageUploadedByPurseForum1452351339.518087.jpg

I think the strength from the magnet is causing this if there isn't much in the bag because it's pulling the canvas down. If you stuff it for storage, it holds its shape. I just put the hand towel in the dust bag whenever I want to use the Favorite, and grab the towel back out again at the end of the day to re-stuff..

I hope this helps! Btw, I have had my bag since September and no crease yet...fingers crossed!

Hi everyone!

I'm buying a favorite MM in monogram this coming week after obsessing over it for quite some time :yahoo:

I have a question about the strap--I read that it's approximately 45 inches. Does this measurement include the gold hook on one side, or just the leather strap?

If anyone could please post the measurement I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks so much in advance! :smile1:

I do this with bubble wrap and so far no crease. I hope it keeps working

Much as i would love to believe its the magnet pulling the canvas, i really doubt that.
I used my azur favourite perhaps not even 10 times and its kind of dipping in on one side too(not a crease yet though!)
I think its simply due to the opening/closing of the bag.Period. The monogram canvas is softer so perhaps it shows the crease the most.
I see no other reason.🤔
Ive stored it exactly as you have, with fabric between the flap and the bag...
Anyway, its very sad because i LOVE this bag and really wanted the monogram...😍

Ill see if i can exchange my favourites for new ones atleast... Fingers crossed!!😳😳
