Much as i would love to believe its the magnet pulling the canvas, i really doubt that.

I used my azur favourite perhaps not even 10 times and its kind of dipping in on one side too(not a crease yet though!)

I think its simply due to the opening/closing of the bag.Period. The monogram canvas is softer so perhaps it shows the crease the most.

I see no other reason.🤔

Ive stored it exactly as you have, with fabric between the flap and the bag...

Anyway, its very sad because i LOVE this bag and really wanted the monogram...[emoji7]

Hi louisisluv... I have an update [emoji4] I went to LV store, the repair specialist was very kind [emoji5]️.
She saw the crease and immediately she told me that my bag had to be replaced. She also proposed me a store credit instead of the replacement.
I decided to replace the bag with a new favorite since she told me that in case of crease forming again, LV will give me a credit store.

So ..... This is my third Favorite monogram PM [emoji4]

The repair specialist suggested to store the bag stuffed and closed ..... But I had the feeling that the crease formation is a very well known issue at LV

You know what!! I went to my lv store too and the repair soecialist was on vacay for afew days. But the SA attending to me did not show any surprise when i showed her the weird dent on my favourite!! I soo agree with you!! I think they are extremely aware of the issue, but are just not admitting it openly.
I truly hope they replace mine too!!!😔😔
Tell me..if its your third favourite, howcome you didnt just go for another bag???
I mean would you want to go through the hassle of taking it in again???

I decided for a new favorite since the repair specialist assured me that in case of a crease formation, LV will give me a credit store (so in case of issue, LV will take care of me again). I will often check her and in case of a crease I will immediately go to that LV store. In the meanwhile the Pallas clutch will be available and in case of issue with the favorite, I will evaluate the Pallas clutch or the Eva.

I have to agree here the magnet is not strong at all. If you feel the top of the bag where the magnet is you will feel the exact rise in the fabric the exact the shape/line of the indent. I am not sure if stuffing a certain way will get rid of it nor why some get it worse than others. I have had my favorite only a year and I do not yet have this indent. The inside is only stuffed with tissue paper and the strap inside a dust bag. Granted I rotate my bags even the small ones so not sure what the issue with them is.

My magnet on my Menilmontant is ten times stronger than that of the Favorite but it in no way has any type of indent and I use the heck out of my Menilmontant. Sounds like it's inevitable like the scratches on hardware plate.

Its a design flaw in the favourite, and i can see it is absolutely inevitable!
Monogram is only more obvious as it is softer!!
Its a shame really!👎👎

Do you think the store will let you exchange or have credit? I bought mine in September. Last weekend I used my bag and noticed a slight crease, but I rounded out the canvas and it went away.

I expect them to be considerate and reasonable, and to show the kind of customer service that buying from a prestigious name like LV entails.
Period.

If there are creases in two out of my four LV bags, for NO fault of mine, and after minimum usage, and its clearlyyy a defect of the favourite, then they ought to honour their word and offer exchanges.(the SA had told me when i made my purchases that in case of defects, within one year, they will exchange/give store credit.)

In case they dont, rest assured its my last LV bag.

Wow, this is really shocking... I researched the Favorite for a long time before I bought it and it's only now I'm seeing people bring up the crease. I thought it was just the plate getting scratched.

I completely agree with everything you're saying. I would dread having to bring my bag into LV if it started to develop a real problem. When I first got my Neverfull they had to replace it within the first week because the glazing was peeling off.

I also brought the same bag in 6 months after that because one of my side straps was starting to wringkle in an unnatural way because the other side was totally fine. It was weird.

And when I got my Favorite the plate was scratched and they had to put a new one one (thank God I found the best protector ever and it can't scratch now.)

But my point is, I agree we spend thousands on this stuff and it's almost embarrassing to bring every bag you buy (well, not my new Speedy 30 de) into the store for some kind of complaint. All the complaints are legit! But it just takes away from the special experience and love of the bag and store.

I almost don't even want to see flaws in my bags because I will just start to go crazy and won't be happy.

I guess I feel at a loss for you with these bags. I pray I don't see my own worsen. Keep us updated on your customer service experience. Hopefully they will play nice and stand behind their quality.
 
I'm so disappointed I think my bag is also beginning to have some crease .
I'm so paranoid that I hvnt even taken out the blue sticker
I shd have an Eva instead

Like i said before its a flimsy, "cheaper" bag than most others at LV...
Ofcourse this workmanship is not justified at nearly $1k ...
(My crease is horizontal btw...)👎👎👎
