Not sure what you mean by “Covid supply glut”? I’m new lol. For me I started at the beginning of 2022 along with a couple of other people. Stock is getting better this year according to my SA.

Mid 2022 was probably the hardest it’s ever been so if you were easily getting amazing bags during that period then everyone really should try Houston. Heck, I have half a mind to even make a new account profile there myself!

I’ve talked to at least 6 people (obviously not that many people in comparison to the amount of shoppers at the store lol) at the houston store who’ve gotten b/k within the first couple of months with the same pattern as me. This is coming from people that started and the end of 2021 beginning of 2022 with me.

Now the 2nd in Houston is definitely harder lol. It’s about 5 of us waiting for the second lol

I don’t know anyone from Dallas so this may not apply at all but Houston and Austin are not as afraid to talk about what bags people want. They know why people are there lol. Thankfully Houston isn’t as difficult as some of the other stores and serious about relationships over spend.

Also my SA is very straightforward. She asked me on the second visit if I wanted to put in a wishlist and if so email it to her.

I total agreed 100% with u, Sa already knew what we are there for. My sa probably is more about spending than relationships. He tried to get me buying the rtw as I asked to see shoes and scarf, when I was there. I should have focus on what I was looking for. Will see what he will tell me this Friday.

My SA tried to get me to buy a watch very earlier on and I was like no thanks I don’t like H watches. She never mentioned it again. Also keep in mind tho that they are sales associates and their job is to sell so don’t take it personally. Just don’t buy what you don’t want. Good luck Friday! Make sure you keep us posted!!

It is weird to me that he wanted me to be there to go over my wishlist which I could have sent him my wishlist through the text. I am not going to get anything this time though because I just spent almost 8k just last week if he is expecting me to get something else..lol. I will keep u all post. It is very funny to go through h game…

Definitely don’t buy anything you don’t want but I think it’s safe to assume that he does indeed expect you to shop on Friday as well.

It’s really not weird tho. Part of the relationship building is getting to know the sa and how they like to operate. Some people SAs prefer to communicate via text (mine) and some like in person. I think he’s showing you how he likes to work. Just go with it for now! Don’t buy anything you don’t want. Friday strictly talk about the wishlist if you don’t want to buy anything.


Please don’t look at it as a game. Looking at it as a game will frustrate you and not believe your sa lol. Just view it as shopping and pay attention to the cues!

I also find it super helpful to go over the swatches, see what the new season ones are, see which leather I prefer specific colors in, etc. I find it helps guide the conversation.

I can understand the disappointment, but look at it this way: you were able to get the items you like, and hopefully you like this SA. I went through 3 SAs before settling down with one. I think as they get to know you more, it will be come a natural conversation for wishlist. Plus, im sure this $8k will not go unnoticed in the end. Assess the situation more when you come back! My first Hermes trip wasn’t all that either lol!

Im visiting my family next wk, and excited to visit the Houston store! It is much bigger than my home store.

he seemed nice to me after I spent that much just on my 1st time met. he also brought out a Kelly Diamond bracelet and he said it looked good on me :) after I already got the coat and sandal. But I didn’t get the bracelet, not at the same day though even though it looks pretty good.

Where is your home town? In Dallas?
