I live in Austin and went, but at 11:30AM the line was so long they eventually came out and dismissed the entire back half and said to come another day or make an appointment (with a form that was not yet working on the website....) So we left.
It was beyond a nightmare if you were not vip with an allocated appt or the first 15ish people. More in the Austin specific thread within shopping …
Hi! I wanted to ask if anyone has heard anything about Houston stock? I messaged my SA and she admitted that whatever bags they get in immediately goes to the super VIP customers first. What have others heard or seen?
I would also like to know more about the houston store, I'm going for the first time next week and want to know if they are any evelyne or picotin bags.
I never see bags on the floor in Houston. But they do get bags that they hold for clients. I wouldn’t consider myself VIP. But I did get offered my second Birkin in 6 months. I will say this, don’t hound SAs about bags and be authentic. That’s what my SA says. I have never actually asked for a bag.

Yes they 100% have bags for clients. I have definitely inquired about the bags but only to change my preferences. I truly think that it depends on what they have in stock too — in terms of what they receive and what they can offer to you. I’ll wait until I get offered my dream bag!

Be patient. Shop for things you love, not to get a bag. I'm sure you'll get your dream bag. Fingers crossed.

So I have been building a relationship with my SA at the Houston location for a couple months now. I’ve only shopped with her twice. One being yesterday. When I walked in for my appointment she had several big bags in dust bags in her hand that she took to the back room but they were definitely hand bags I saw a handle lol. I didn’t ask what they were. I felt like she was waiting for me to say something tho.
When she came back I told her I only wanted a couple things and I would make it quick. At the end when I was paying she said I know I’ve been texting you but email me your wishlist and I will see what I can get for you. I emailed her that I want a K, Picotin and Evelyn. She emailed me saying great I will “flag” (not sure what that means?) the k and let you know. She text me hours later asking me a ton of questions about the Picotin and Evelyn’s that I wanted. I’m feeling like something may happen lol.
All in all I have only bought things that I like. I’m liking our relationship (she even talks about her family and I told her about mine), and she’s seemingly really interested in helping me get *something*. I also like that she recognized me when I walked in (I had only seen her once before).I’m ok with whatever the process is or however long it takes but I’m glad I finally got started as I had but putting it off. Chanel has left a bad taste in my mouth so that was the push that I needed.
