The store within driving distance does not accept walk ins. It's ok, perhaps it is just a way of telling me to wait. You never know what great things can come to those that wait.

another option for ever buying items online i guess is store pickup if allowed that way they will have no choice but to give u an appointment. Also, store pickup is soo much better because if there are issues with the item, you can return or exchange it on the spot and witnessed by an SA. This is what i do with fine jewelry items butwill work well with other luxury goods as well.

This is exactly what I did lol.

I wanted to add that I went to go see my SA today to pick up some stuff she got for me, and she said things are getting somewhat better. She mentioned they had a pico 22 in black phw that immediately sold. They have a mini garden party on display now and there is also a TPM evie in black that she let me look at (it may be gone already), so things are getting better. She did mention that she thinks stock is going to suffer again/has been suffering because H is holding back a lot for the SCP boutique and now Austin and soon to be Madison. Everyone thinks Houston should be allocated a lot more bc of how big and international this city is, but unfortunately that is not the case. She did seem hopeful though that things will pick up!

oh and they also had an orange rodeo which she didnt even notice until I pointed it out.

Did she happen to know when Austin will open?

She didnt say the exact date, but I can totally ask her. She said a couple of weeks. I told her my sister lives there and she goes, "can she be there on opening day because..." implying that stock should be amazing :graucho:
Thanks! My sister lives there too - I’ll put her on standby.

I’m curious about the date because if there is a special scarf for the opening, I want it. Now that I’m a Texpat in Colorado, I want aaaalllll the Texas scarves

aww sorry to have lost ya to Colorado! We are in Houston, so going to Austin would be easy but I dont want to cheat on my new SA who has been so lovely to me so far. A special scarf would be so cool though. I will ask her if she knows of anything special. There is 0 chance my sister would go for the opening if I wasn't there with her...shes pretty intimidated by the idea of it all.

Haha, no I won’t. She loves to hear my stories as she’s a big lover of fashion but she’s not quite at that point in her life where she feels comfortable making these sorts of purchases. She’s quite a bit younger than I am, but I’m sure she’ll get there someday and even if she never does that is ok too.

My first purchase w Hermes was a twilly in 2017 or 2018. Bought a noir GP with my now SA in 2019. At that time she even gave me options to other colors for GP and opened a new box of etoupe GP36 in front of me which i politely declined since it would bother me not to get a black tote for business use. She ordered the noir GP for me from some other location and shipped it to my house. During that time i stalked H.com and there were GPs in canvas, leather and jypsiers in various pop of colors.

Started buying coveted leather goods in 2020 and pretty much got offered picotins in 22 which i declined and picotin 18 in etoupe ghw or phw (not fan of etoupe) which i also declined—- all at different offering times. And i remember there was a pico 22 noir touch phw at the store at that time which was mehhh not worth the tiny croc handle. Finally got offered pico 18 ghw which she opened in front of me on the first floor by the scarves (not even done behind the slg area ). Also there was a bearn mini cardholder in vert bosphore ghw and jaune ambre ghw that i saw in store that i regret not buying either one

Its amazing how things have changed the short time ive been buying from this fashion house. Like them having a pico 22 which anyone would buy now (just because pretty much there are limited other options and youd be lucky enough even to get to buy a womens leather bag) but i wouldnt because im not a fan of pico 22.

anyways thats my story and tnx for letting me rant if it sounds that way lol

edited.

Hi! Does anyone prefer the Dallas or Vegas store more?
My SA is currently at the Vegas location but I find her not interested in selling me products and won’t update my wish list.
Has anyone else had this experience? Should I stay with Vegas and get a new SA or switch over to the Dallas store?
And does anyone have a good SA in Dallas?
I have worked with Joey for about 25 years. He is very knowledgeable and gracious...and I am far from being one of their better customers, mostly fragrances and the occasional scarf.
