Anyone recommend a good responsive SA in Houston? Someone fun, with good personality. Would really appreciate it. I hear Michael is great but I think he is a veteran there and probably has a lot of clients. Thank you so much.

Congrats!! Details? Pics?
If you don’t mind my asking how long had you been waiting?

FYI I was told 6-9 months lead time on porcelain orders right now by the store manager
I mistakenly said July 2020 but meant July 2021. I had to wait 6 months which I actually didn’t mind. My SA was trying to offer it to me before Christmas but the store unexpectedly closed a few days before Christmas and didn’t reopen until January 4. That’s so crazy about the porcelain lead time. I have so many porcelain pieces on my wishlist.

I have a friend who was also offered a B30 just before Christmas in a beige (she thinks it was not gold but similar) and PHW. She didn’t go in to see it as it didn’t fit her criteria. I have actually been waiting almost a full year now with no luck on a B/K but have managed to get some other great and rare(ish) items in the interim such as my Kelly to-go and St. Germaine boots. I suspect it is a combination of having slightly pickier color requests and my SA being one of the veterans with more clients in front of me (combined with the overall shortages) but hoping I’ll be lucky and get an offer in the next few months.

Is the Houston store still by appointment only?

I recently bought a vintage barenia Evelyne and am thinking of sending her to the spa. Do I need to make an appointment to bring her in to be evaluated? Would they be able to tell me what would be done? Or just, we will send it away and let the craftsman take care of it?

They are accepting walk ins. They will send it to the craftsman who will recommend what work needs to be done.

Any tips on being able to get an appointment at the Dallas store. I stopped by today and it was by appointment only, and the attendant at the said they are so short staffed that they are not answering the phones either, try calling later next week maybe they answer phones! It just sounded ridiculous! I just want to try Oran sandlas to see what size i do I need.

I can assure you they are definitely not returning calls in a timely fashion! It’s super frustrating. They will eventually text you if you leave a celly. Is Dallas not on the appointment setting site?

My SA has been out of town this week but I’d sent her a note asking to phone me Monday about some inquiries I had and to set up multiple appointments for friends coming to town. If you are comfortable I’m happy to pass along your contact info if you want to DM me

I also left a message but went ahead and ordered some shoes online. I hope they fit. Incidentally, a Nata card holder is up on the website. I haven't ever been to a store so I hoped to be able to see what size I was.

Be careful buying items you are not sure of especially regards sizing. I had a very bad experience with this i bought a size way too small and had it exchanged and the online return sent the shoe back to me because they said i already used the shoe which i did not—- i only tried it on and on carpeted floor. Theyre very strict about returns and exchanges and sadly think people just buy these items to make youtube videos out of them then return them. This was ever been my first attempt to return or exchange an item and thats what they did to me. Go to a store and establish rapport with an SA you can sincerely trust and vice versa.

Yep, I bought them too big. So question, how do I get an appointment if my local boutique is unable to return messages and schedule new people? I literally slid one on one foot but you are so right. They were laced in a strange way but I didn't even change the laces- very intentionally. I did however have to unknot the knot so there is that. They arrived today and I am sending back first thing tomorrow. I am hoping that will help. IDK. We will see how it goes.

does it say you can return in-store instead of online? Online return is hard — you will go around in circles talking to a person on the phone who dont understand you. In my local store, they allow walkins. First time you visIt a physical store is when you’ll be assisted by an SA who will hopefully be your permanent SA.

The store within driving distance does not accept walk ins. It's ok, perhaps it is just a way of telling me to wait. You never know what great things can come to those that wait. :)
