Jason seems to have turned it down a few notches since he retired from football. That said, they both seem like fun to be around and I don’t blame Taylor for wanting to be around it.

I look at it this way... Yes, her carbon footprint is much larger than the average person and yes, she does jet around quite a lot.
But she isn't being a hypocrite by banging on about what the plebs should be doing to save the planet while she goes all over the place on a whim. Unlike some other ultra wealthy folks and celebs seem to do.

"Concerts that generate hundreds of millions of dollars due to private air transportation."
"She has significantly boosted economies worldwide."
"Flying on commercial flights is not an option due to security concerns, so the only way that Swift can efficiently and safely get to her concert venues is by private jet."
Most critics are talking about her use of private jets to go on an hour date in NYC and then fly back to Japan for a concert. Really unnecessary trips such as a concert in Europe and flying back to the US to sleep in her own bed each night. How does that help the economy and why not just stay in the country where she is performing.
Besides, we're talking about her environmental impact and even if she generates income, the world is still going to burn up and then where will we be?
Taylor generously lends her jets to family and friends. Her mother Andrea was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015 and 2019 and a brain tumor was discovered during chemo. She travels everywhere with her beloved Great Dane thanks to her daughter's love and generosity. Andrea lives in Nashville (and Taylor does not) so flights to TN most likely are ferrying her.
Flight tracking does not provide passenger lists. Do you have a link to a verified source proving that Taylor flies home after after every Eras concert (152 dates, in all)? TikTok doesn't count.
I hear you and I don’t disagree. But I don’t think she’s the worst of the jet setters and if she stopped completely nothing would change.
She’s easy to pick on because she’s high profile and we hear about her. But what about people like Mark Zuckerberg, or other self-important executive, or whatever no name billionaire who jets around as much as, if not more than, TS? But without the positive economic windfall her presence brings? And without donating thousands to food banks at their every destination?
Taylor happened to be on tour and I’m sure once that ends at the end of the year she won’t be flying around as much.
I’m not saying flying around is ok, but it’s a little different when you look at the whole picture.
And honestly, if I had access to a private jet the way these people do, I’d probably be going all over the place, too.
Rich people treat private jets like Uber. She sold one of hers due to backlash.

I generously lend my car to family and friends. Doesn't make the emissions any lower just because the drive was enabled by a generous act.
These people will go to their intended destinations one way or another. Friends and family of the wealthy would simply charter a jet from some other wealthy jet owner. If TS is buying carbon credits at least she’s doing something. Doubtful that No Name Wealthy Jet Owner is doing the same if no one pays attention to him for his jet use as they do with TS.
If people like Taylor and also Leo DiCaprio think “buying carbon credits” reverses the damage.. get real!!

I'm picking on Swift because this is her thread. I know other billionaires are also destroying the planet and do not care as long as they have a fast, comfy ride to their destination. Let their children suffer the consequences.
I do wonder if you would also be going all over the place as you said. Wouldn't your guilty conscience kick in or do we lose our sense of shame when we become powerful and extraordinarily wealthy. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
