She was the first of a couple opening acts. I was at that concert and no one knew who she was. Not many people in their seats yet and out comes this mass of blonde hair in cowboy boots with nothing but three band members and she blew the roof off the place.
Was this when she had a strong country/southern accent when speaking, even though she was from Berks County, Pennsylvania?
It was when she was a child, moved to TN and was trying to make it in a profoundly challenging industry, where grow ass adults made you do stupid things to get a record deal or made nasty comments about you.

I live in Canada, we recognize 16 yr olds as children.

I'm Canadian too - if you're anywhere near Toronto - it's Swift week, they even put up new street signs for her 6 show run renaming a downtown route in her name - Taylor Swift Way.

Busted. Very perceptive. Yep, 2011 is when she ditched the tedium of writing her own hit songs and began hiring others to do it for her. They are bound by strict secrecy and only a handful of people on earth know the truth. LMAO.
I mean, look, I’m not a huge fan. I preferred her country stuff. And she doesn’t have the strongest voice or the best dance moves. And she does know what sells. She knows how to market herself. None of that is an accident.
However, while I do think a lot of her stuff sounds the same now, and she benefits from having adoring fans, and she collaborates with others now, you cannot escape that she can string an interesting and unexpected line together. She can come up with a catchy repeat. She has a number of remarkable songs. She continues to write songs for other genres and other artists because she knows the public doesn’t want them from her. And that’s a pretty talented song writer, to my mind, anyway.

I’d be surprised if anything happens on the engagement front until after the football season ends in January (or after the Super Bowl in February, if the Chiefs make it). Staying focused is important for professional athletes and that guy seems to have enough distractions going on without making millions of Swifties go nuts.
