“I would always just hear someone cheering from across the studio where we were shooting [the ‘Fortnight’ music video],” she recalled while proudly holding her Moon Person trophy.

“And that one person was my boyfriend, Travis,” she said while the audience roared. “Everything this man touches turns into happiness and fun and magic, and I want to thank him for adding that to our shoot because I’ll always remember that.”

The “Cruel Summer” singer had quite the successful night, making history by becoming the artist with the most VMA wins. She took home seven awards this year, bringing her career total to a whopping 30.

Yes, Taylor, being in love is wonderful. It’s okay to enjoy it without telling everyone about it.

I saw a clip of her speech on social media today, not because I wanted to but because it's been impossible to avoid  where she told that little story of being on set and it was so random & cringe. Mentioning 'my boyfriend Travis' as if no one knows who he is now or that they are a 'couple', feck sake whether people willingly know or people know against their will because of her/their overexposure, it just screams of a set-up to get the big overreaction from the audience and the soundbites that go viral the next day all over social media and mainstream media. Yawn.

Can you tell I am so sick and tired of people fawning over, obsessing about and worshipping celebrities when everything they do is smoke & mirrors and contrived?

Mentioning her BF and then waiting for the applause from her fans.

right....you'd think she'd want to be the pack leader
maybe her husband asked her not to do it

This. These kinds of shows put people under a microscope and opinions never seem to be good.

BM got a ton of negative blow back for a political-related social media “like” and I don’t blame her husband for dissuading her from participating in anything that may result in any bad publicity. What she says or does can affect his non-NFL income, his image, and the image of the team.

Plus they obvi don't need the cash or extra exposure and she's pregnant again. She will have 2 toddlers and an infant to deal with.

I’m sure she can just pay for help any time she wants to do something sans kids.

I just feel like this show will have an element of drama because who would watch it otherwise? She may not want to participate in that.
