I’ve never been a fangirl I’ve liked a few of her songs. Not only is she known for gifting her employees with crazy bonuses while touring, she donates to food pantries in the cities she tours. Seeing philanthropy in someone young and with her platform in a world of Kardashian’s is honestly so refreshing. Also as a crazy cat lady I appreciate her taking her taking her cats along with her while working. I remember reading something a while back (probably pre 2020) about that and it’s something that Ive ever given any thought too as that’s not my lifestyle. But if I had that kind of job I couldn’t imagine being away from my guys that long they’d absolutely have to come with me.
Oh, I didn't know she travelled with her cats....it takes a certain kind of cat to be good about travel...and I guess if you start them young....I saw a woman walking a black cat on a leash (with harness) recently. so cute....walking perfectly just like a trained dog

One of my cats gave in and learned to walk on a leash because it was the only way he could be outside. We walked for hours on many beaches in SoCal, causing quite a stir. And no, he never used the sand as a litter box, he used his box in the car so the lifeguards gave us a thumbs up.

Taylor adopted Benjamin when he was hired to appear in her Me! video. Olivia was seen traveling in her kitty backpack in the Miss Americana doc.

I was surprised. My guess is that they have always traveled with her so they’re use to it. Definitely something that you start when they are young. Leashed cats are SO cute because it’s unexpected. I tried to put a harness on my cats (many many cats ago)once so I could take them to visit my mom in a nursing home ya they weren’t having it at all lol. Definitely something to as kittens. My coworker tried it on her two younget cats the youngest one somewhat took to it. The older one laid on the ground like she was dead hahaha.

One of my late cats was trained to fetch paperclips and walked on a leash. (Not by me)
The ones I have now? Forget it. Although, one of them follow me in the neighborhood when I walk the dogs.
At home, she hates all of us

I had a cat who would run alongside me when I walked...he was a sprinter...he'd run and then stop.
the cats I have now don't go outside and putting a harness or even a collar on them would be a fight (esp my boy)

It amazes how we all used to just let our cats out to roam whenever they wanted. How the views on that has changed over the years. The thought horrifies me today, so many bad things can happen to them. I suppose some people live in areas where it is safe.

the two we have now don't even know what outside is. you open the door and they don't go near it. good thing as we have coyotes in the area
