^^ what are they like for around the feet and hands area? is it easier to apply? - im really good at applying cream tans everywhere but always tend to get tide marks on my feet and around my fingers.

These tan pads sound great!

But like Princess Gina above, I have trouble with my feet and ankles. The skin there is so dry the tanning solutions tend to absorb too much and look darker and really weird.

Would one of you gals report how the tanning sheets work on feet and ankles?

Super extra TIA!!!!

^ I posted this earlier. Hope it helps.

I apply a small amount of Sorbolene moisturiser to my dry areas (elbows, hands, feet, ankles, kneecaps) before I use my TanTowels. This way they don't end up darker in those spots and I've always ended up with a flawless result. I can pretty much apply the TanTowel wipes blindfolded and still end up with a natural looking tan. Seriously this is the best tanning system I've ever used!

I apply lotion to my "dry" areas a few minutes prior to application.

I did a store search and it said the only place near me to purchase Tan Towels is Dillards. Of course I can just order them but it would be quicker if I could just go pick them up. Has anyone bought them from a department store? I'm trying to figure out where on earth they would be. It's not like there's a Tan Towel counter (that I know of) so where would the be? I picture myself wondering dazed and cofused all throughout Dillards asking everyone I see, do you know where the Tan Towels are? Won't somebody please help me find Tan Towels...

Last time I saw them at dillards tehy were 40% off..that was a few weeks ago...idk if theyre still on sale or what..but they were in the cosmetics section on a column...I have also seen tan towels at ulta and some tanning salons...

Anyone tried the tanning towlettes for L'oreal from the drugstore?

I've used these for the past two summers and I've never had a problem with application. I always get a even & natural looking tan. However, when they start to wear off it can be really splotchy & weird, so you really have to reapply before it starts to wear off at all. For me that was every 2-3 days. Otherwise they worked great for me.

I am going to get some of these Tan Towels to try, maybe they'll be even better!!

So I bought some tan towels today! Yay!

How do you feel after you apply the tan towels? Do you have a sticky feeling or anything? Most self tanners I apply leave me feeling sticky for a couple of hours.

Wow...I'm soooo excited to have seen this thread!!! I have been bad and fake baked myself for many years. Last year was the first year that I didn't because my derm put me on meds and topicals for my skin. Although I am only 29...I swear I have given my self some wrinkles because of tanning as well. I tired mystic tan once, and I felt orange and I also could not stand the way it made me smell!! If these really work they will be a god send for me!! I think I am going out to buy some tomorrow:nuts:
