Tan Towels are great!

I bought some of these yesterday at Ulta, and tried them immediately. It was very easy to apply but the results weren't as dark as I'd hoped. I just tried another wipe to deepen the tan some. Has anyone with fair skin tried the med/dark wipe? If so, how did it turn out?

Just to show you girls how natural the result of using Tan Towels is, here's a pic of me pre and post application.

^ I only used 1 regular Tan Towel Evolution towelette so the result is subtle. When I use 2 I look like I've been holidaying in Hawaii for a few weeks!

I need to get to Ulta asap, I've been reading reviews of these online all day and I am dying to try them. I am SUPER pale and have been looking for something that won't turn me orange for what feels like forever, I'm so excited!!!!!

cristalena56 - Thanks. I can't wait to hear what you think of them. I'm sure you'll love them like I do.

KarraAnn - Not streaky at all. You just have to blend. And don't use a fresh towelette that's really damp. Use it when it's a little more dried out, preferably after you've done a larger area of your body like the legs or back. That way you won't end up with a really dark face. You can see in the 'after' photo I posted above that my face blends well with the rest of my body. I applied a light moisturiser about 10 minutes before tanning my face and it helped with the application and end result. Let us know how you go.

talexs - Tan Towels will not turn you orange. Ever. I had no clue what I was doing the first few times I used the these towelettes yet still ended up with a better result than I'd ever gotten from other tanning products.

This forum is dangerous- I always find something else I need and I'm addicted to tanning so I need to visit Ulta now! Lol

Thanks TXglam, I never thought those things worked

Welcome!! :D

I tried the fair to medium skin one last night and woke up with a subtle golden glow. I think I will apply another fair one tomorrow and see what happens. Definitely not as dark as I get with the medium but I think it's perfect for the winter months. I don't like being too tan during the winter.

i'm going to have to try these. i tried the loreal ones last summer (i've never tried any tanning products before that) and the color was great, but my application technique was off. i ended up uneven because i did not apply the same amount of pressure everywhere and that's tricky to me because the towels start off really damp and then dries out so you feel like you have to apply more pressure! i couldn't even use the correcting exfoliating stuff evenly!

hopefully my results will be better with this product! but i assume applying even pressure is necessary no matter what tanning towel you choose.

I did a store search and it said the only place near me to purchase Tan Towels is Dillards. Of course I can just order them but it would be quicker if I could just go pick them up. Has anyone bought them from a department store? I'm trying to figure out where on earth they would be. It's not like there's a Tan Towel counter (that I know of) so where would the be? I picture myself wondering dazed and cofused all throughout Dillards asking everyone I see, do you know where the Tan Towels are? Won't somebody please help me find Tan Towels...

I didn't try the L'oreal ones, but I haven't seen many postitive reviews on them, the reviews I read complained about a splotchy tan and said that the application process wasn't necessarily foolproof. So the ones that we need to buy are actually just called "Tan Towels?" Thanks!
