Tan Towels are great!

I had to go to two Ultas before I found the dark ones because they were all sold out!! I just used them (a little nervous) so I hope I didn't mess it up:sweatdrop: So can anyone tell me again about how often will i need to do the full body towel again? Should I use the lotion in between, and the towel about every five days?

^ oooh yea I saw that you said that, I just wasn't sure what it meant. I am definitely hunting these down this weekend, I ran in shorts the other day and was overly aware of how blindingly white my legs were!! Thanks for the info :flowers:

Does tan towels also have a self tanning lotion by chance? I found after my color developed that it really works great with my skin tone. Ha, right now I am sitting here w/ half of my body done with the tan towels and half of my body done with Sun Giese (I had great results with the latter years ago and wanted to see which color looked best on me.) My color is dark after only one use of the tan towels but I missed many spots as pointed out in a previous post of mine and would like it better if they had a tinted lotion to cover those spots so I do not make myself too dark!

PixieGirl - Tan Towel has a tanning mist (spray) that is great in place of the towelettes. But if you need to just spot-treat certain areas I'd suggest using a regular sized Tan Towel wipe.

Just to show you girls how natural the result of using Tan Towels is, here's a pic of me pre and post application.

^ I only used 1 regular Tan Towel Evolution towelette so the result is subtle. When I use 2 I look like I've been holidaying in Hawaii for a few weeks!

I don't know how I missed these pics! Girlfriend, I love your tan but I also just have to mention - could you be more gorgeous???? You are soooo beautiful!

I've seriously got to try these because I'm even fairer skinned than you in your before pic! :D

So how long do these towels take to develop a tan? I put it on about 3 hours ago and not really seeing anything yet :shrugs:. Just wondering if I should use another towel...

^After waking up I can see a slight difference, but I'm not as dark as I hoped I'd be...and I even bought the dark. Do you think another towel will get me dark? Maybe I didn't use the first towel thoroughly.

Hmm, that's odd! The dark towel get me pretty dark and I even have a good base tan from tanning beds!

I would definitely try another towel tonight, that usually gets me super dark.

Hope it works out for you!!

Did you only apply 1 towelette for your entire body? And what size did you use?

I bought the half body and applied it to my face, neck, chest and arms.

Then yesterday I applied another to the same places but still didn't really see a huge improvement . I see some color but it's not as dark as I expected.

Maybe they gave me the fair to medium towels inside the package by mistake??

I do like how they are so easy to apply and dry so quickly.

I going to keep trying! I do see better results with a second towel.

How much are the full-body towels? I didn't see them when I went to my Ulta, so I had to purchase the half-body and those were about $25! That's kind of high for those little towels, lol. At least I had my 20% coupon that saved me $5. I bet you get better usage from the larger ones.

Ulta online has the full body plus for 5/$25. So $5 each. So if you have to use 2 to get the desired color that would be $10 per application. At first I thought that was too expensive but I currently Mystic Tan and I buy in packages that comes to $11 per session or go on $10 Mondays. I'm never 100% happy with Mystic so if these work better at the same price it will be fantastic.
