^^Ugh I hate that, whenever I run I sweat the tanner off too and I start to look super ridiculous. Anyone know of any tanners you can't really sweat off, or is this inevitable? I think all of this self tanner business is super fun, but I am beginning to wonder if I should just give up.

Hmm, I can't believe so many of you are getting streaks! I have been using it for months now and have had 0 streaking issues. I am still very happy with these towels. In fact, I love them!

I'm really surprised too. I have always, always struggled with streaking on my feet until I tried Tan Towels. Finally, no streaks!:yahoo: I'm also a little surprised that some are getting the DHA smell. I guess it must vary depending on body chemistry but I get zero smell from them. I can stick my nose right on my arm and can not detect any odor whatsoever. I've used a lot of different brands of self tanner and they always have at least a little smell and most really stink, so the lack of smell is one of the best things about TT for me.

No smell here either. I'm just so glad it works for me:yahoo:

Do you use Dove on your face? I just read your post on the other new self tanning thread.

I do use it on my face but only once or twice a week. It leaves me very oily so I use it at night before bed. No breakouts and Mystic Tan always left me with a pimple or two on my chin. I keep meaning to check if they have a formula meant for faces but keep forgetting. I've read great things about Mychelle tanner used on the face too. I think I'm going to order some so I'll report back on how it works.

They sell a moisturizer for the face that gradually builds color. I have used it with great results. :smile1:

Ok, where does a gal in Brooklyn, Ny get these? We don't have Ulta stores or Dillard's, any suggestions or should I just order them online? Hubby is in Manhattan all week long if someone knows a place in the city to buy them.

Never mind, dopey me went to the Tan Towels website and they list a store about 3 blocks from me that sells them, going to go tonight and buy some!

Questions!

How big of a box should I buy? i want to do my entire body, I am fair to light skinned, no tan. I have done spray tanning in the past, but not this year,so, i am still white. Also, should I buy anything else other than the box of tan towels? i don't want to go crazy buying extras i don't really need, so, only the essentials please. Oh, and does anyone know how long a box will last? I am 5'1" and fluffy.

I'm still liking my tan towels! I've been reapplying them over the old tanner on my arms and it still looks good. No need to scrub away the old tanner first.

I've been using the darker ones in the half body application. So far those cover my face, neck, chest and arms really good. I might try the larger towels to do my legs. They are white as can be!

I haven't tried them yet, just picked up a box tonight. There are 5 towels to a box ($21) and I think it said each one will last a few days? It said for face and body. I'm going from memory as the box is downstairs and I'm too lazy to go look.

Well, i went to 3 stores in my neighborhood today that sold Tan Towels, but they all sold the towelettes individually and i wanted the box. the one store that had the large size towelettes were selling them for $4.99 each and they only had the medium to dark complexion ones at that. So, i am going to have to order them online.

Nishi621 - I'd recommend you buy the TanTowel Plus Evolution Towelettes as these are big enough to do your entire body from top to toe, and give a deeper/darker tan which will definitely show up on your fair skin. I use these and love them! I had a look on eBay and found a good deal on a 6 pack of these towelettes if you're interested. http://cgi.ebay.com/TANTOWEL-PLUS-D...ryZ31773QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem There are plenty more sellers that offer TanTowel packs though.
