Here you go! Obviously the handles are a little worn but some of that was done by me! I feel like because it's vintage, I don't have to worry about babying it when I travel

A Keepall 45 from 1994, for my 18 years old son. My son really loves it, even the patina is strong.

Just picked up this vintage beauty from June of 95. Absolutely wonderful condition and look forward to many years of use. I like the idea that this bag has had some type of story before it has made its way to me.

I absolutely love all these vintage Keepalls. I wonder where all they've travelled.

That's what I really like about mine. It's the same as my wife is with her purse. The places they may have been, things they have seen and adventures they were apart of make it that more interesting.

All of these stories are so beautiful! and so many more items to add to my wishlist! Here is my very first Mono Speedy 25 from my first BF 21 yrs ago....and then one, I just recently purchased from the yr I graduated. Crossing my fingers it's authentic, I have been wanting this one for quite some time! Thx for sharing.

If you have an interest in these older pieces, it's quite useful to have one of the old illustrated catalogues.
They have drawings rather than photographs, but give the serial numbers. In the case of Epi or Taiga
these show the available colours.
There are usually a few on EBay and not silly money.

The stamps on my bag have faded and are almost unreadable. Will LV restamp or do I have to replace the lining?

I don't think LV will re-stamp, nor do I think replacing the lining will get you a new set of stamps.
The stamps are date and place of manufacturing information - not repair information.

Tys. I don't need repair. I'll just get a formal authenticator/ appraisal done and keep it. I know the bag will eventually be given to one of my daughters that info will be helpful to them.

I just purchased a Vintage LV French Co. Mono Keepall 45, so excited! Will post pics when she arrives next week. (Not sure of her age since French Co. manufactured LV in the US from 1970's through 1991).

Actually, for certain repairs, Louis Vuitton will change the date code in the bag. One obvious example is when the date code stamp is part of what is being replaced. There have been several cases on TPF over the years.
