I see, I am pretty lucky that the manager did nt chop any final sale or exchange but she did say verbally that it will be final. Well i just noticwd that second pic was hard to see. i had attached another picture which is more obvious and this is after fix picture, much better but thr are still two greyish tiny spots. I think most probably combination of glue and leather peeling as she can't remove them all and there are these greyish spots. What's your thought?

If it were me, as much as my partner would hate it, yes, I would drag him down with me to the Prada boutique to exchange it again, because I know it would bother me, and it's expensive. I always think to myself, leave no room for regrets. I don't want to be using the bag and keep staring at those spots. If it bothers you a lot, exchange it. Tell her that you do not think the mark is normal as the other bags do not have this mark. And I think you are right, combination of glue/scuffing. If this mark were at the bottom it wouldn't have mattered, but it's right at the handle area. I had a closer look at the picture you attached, oh, that right there is definitely light scuffing. It may get worse overtime. Try your best to exchange it!

I did dragged my partner along the last time we went to Prada to fix n ask abt that scuffing, he said it's not an issue for him and I can never get a perfect bag. He said I'm gonna use the bag anyway so eventually he thinks it will get scratches as wear and tear. Moreover for him, it's handmade bag so it will have a little flaw. Furthermore he said to me it will be easy for me to recoznize my bag with that mark 😂. And the Dept Manager of Prada is telling me it's not scuffing and it is fine so I didnt end up exchanging sigh. Quite disappointed that Prada dept/store manager did not recognize this as scuffing and convinced me that it's not defective, only printing problem.

As it's my first time buying a Prada bag and also a handmade bag so I am not sure what is it to or not to overlook. I have a Prada saffiano wallet which I bought last year but the saffiano leather looks perfect no scuffing at all.

I can't exchange it anymore as it's already been 12 days, any exchanging or refund have to be done within 10 days. I'm very disappointed with Prada saffiano bag Quality Control and also with their retail staff for convincing me a defect is nt a defect. Such a bad experience, I'm thinking to lodge a complain to Prada Italy.

Hi all, I need urgent help please. I got some kind of Mayo sauce spilt on my saffiano mini bag ay the shops today. How should I clean it? I initially wiped it all off with a damp cloth, then a wipe down with baby wipes, then another damp cloth and dried it with a tissue. Anything else i should of done? It's my favourite mini bag! So upset! Did I do the right thing?

Baby wipes or water from the damp cloth won't fade the leather right? Please help! Any advice or experience is greatly appreciated from everyone.

Thank you.

So I just got my Prada Cuir Double Bag less than a month ago and the button has come off the tiny clasp that keeps the handles together. I am really upset. If I take it into a boutique, will they be able to fix it right away or will I have to wait a few months while it is sent to repairs? :(

This is a common issue. The dirt accumulates from from our hands, lotion or general use. This is why people may wrap silk scarves on the handles, to preserve it. Every month or so when my Prada Saffiano is in rotation, I do a overall wipe down and concentrate under the handles with a alcohol and fragrance free baby wipe. This won't get rid of the stickiness completely, but it makes it better. After you wipe it down, you can wrap a silk scarf around the handles if it really bothers you.
Thanks so much for the advice. I took it into the Prada store where they got rid of some of the stickiness. Is this the case for all designer bags with handles?

Hi everyone!
I have a Prada Vitello Diano Shopper in Talco, it has a few little brown spots, they are light but they are bothering me, I've called Prada and they cannot recommend anything as its against policy, does anyone have any cleaners that work for this type of leather?
Thanks in advance!! :)

I think talco is the most amazing color on any handbag, but the issue you're dealing with is the reason I won't own that color. It's basically white and definitely next to impossible to keep looking new.

I've used Leather CPR for all my bags. It does a respectable job and is perfectly safe. Some people use baby wipes and say that works. Just pick a very discrete spot to test before you try anything that's recommended here.

Hi all,

need help over here. My bag's handle came off just this morning as I wanted to carry it and then I realised the rest of the thread on the other side also started to come off.
Can anyone advise should I bring in to Prada Singapore for repair or any other recommended shops? TIA!

I am having trouble picturing this. Did it come apart on the actual handle or where it attaches to the bag? Is it a newer one? My old tessutos have been through it all and have held up. The newer ones seem flimsier somehow, but time will tell. Speaking of time, be prepared to not see your bag for several months if you turn it over to Prada for repairs. I had a screw fall off the handle of one of my bags and they quoted me $90 and 4-6 months repair time. I went to craft or hardware store and bought one that didn't match exactly but did the job for a buck or two.

I got this prada saffiano lux tote cameo, the problem that i got is the bag started losing it form after 2 months using it. Is there any way to fix this? Will prada boutique have it fixed for me?
My friends who are using prada lux tote got the same problem too. This is one minus point for prada saffiano lux tote bag because it's way too easy to lose the shape

I have the medium (no strap) and I've never seen it's form like that on mine or others in action. Can we get more pics of the bag as a whole, empty, on a flat surface? Also a side view?
