Yes that's about right. And Ugh! I am so sorry! The Prada repair process is such a pain in the a**. 10 weeks and $180 later to repair the cracked sealing on the sides and front handle on my 2 year old bag(saffiano double zip lux). You may have better luck at a local cobbler or leather craftsman. Or try speaking to another SA or store manager- A snap falling off is clearly not your fault!

I got similar scratches in the same spot in my black BN2274. But it looked like an "area" of scratches rather than single lines like yours. I rubbed a bit of balm on it with my finger (gently) and then buffed it with a soft cloth. You can try a leather moisturiser - just use a pin drop on one scratch first. I think scratches in that area are from the key fob.

Thanks everyone for your reply! I took it to the Prada boutique in my city and they said they will send it out to get it repaired :D Not sure how much it will cost yet. They guy said they might repair it for free since I just got the bag a few months ago. I will keep you guys posted!

Hello everyone,

I am about to make a purchase of a Prada Saffiano handbag in Cammeo. Can any one please advice me some tips and advice about this color? Ex) color transfer, leather cracking ect.

Any suggestions about leather products to use for caring in regards to caring and preventing stains and or/ conditioning leather would be greatly appreciated! I've been researching and some people said Apple Guard is great but it can stain the bag so I wanted a more direct answer. I was also thinking of using my previous Michael kors replant and conditioner since it is treated for leathers. Or should I just stick to non alcoholic baby wipes? Thanks!

I think talco is the most amazing color on any handbag, but the issue you're dealing with is the reason I won't own that color. It's basically white and definitely next to impossible to keep looking new.

I've used Leather CPR for all my bags. It does a respectable job and is perfectly safe. Some people use baby wipes and say that works. Just pick a very discrete spot to test before you try anything that's recommended here.
Hi,
I know that this is a really old post but I'm hoping you'll reply. Do you use Leather CPR on your Prada saffiano bags too? Recently purchased a pre-owned B2756 in caramel and am looking for something to help improve a few scuffs and an area that's dirty or lightly stained. Have read through this entire thread but haven't found a consistent answer on what can/should be used on Prada saffiano leather to clean/protect/restore it. I've tried baby wipes but that didn't do much. Thank you:)

Saffiano is pretty much no maintenance. The Leather CPR is more for porous leathers like soft calf and deerskin. If you're using your bag (as you should), it's going to get dinged up here and there. The only thing I'd do with saffiano is use a slightly dampened cloth (water and nothing else) to wipe the dirt and perspiration (especially from the handles & straps) from time to time.

That's very helpful - thank you. Really appreciate the advice:)

pics? how bad is it? how long have you used it?

I've only used it once or twice. I sold it and the lady I sold it to complained of the scuff (which was definitely not there when it left me), I just didn't like it when it came down to using it, and I generally move them on quite quickly if I don't feel the love. Anyway, here is a pic, you can hardly see it!
