I bring my lunch almost every day, but I just carry it in a paper lunch bag. Or if too big, I use a plastic grocery sack. I already carry a purse plus a work bag, and don't want another "bag" to worry about.

I take my lunch (and a snack) to work about 95% of the time. I use a BYO bag similar to this: http://www.amazon.com/BYO-Rambler-L...I4JQ/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1298169043&sr=8-4

I love that it is insulated, has a zipper closure, and I can throw it in the washing machine when it gets dirty. I got it at Marshall's for $7. Best lunch bag I've ever had. It is not flat, but it will fit a lot if needed. If you don't carry a lot then it can easily fit in a brief case or tote.

Almost every single day, religiously. I only eat out during weekends with close friends. Some of my co-workers would say I'm 'antisocial' and 'cheap' but I figured they're just jealous I'm saving money while staying perfectly comfortable in my seat.

I bring my lunch inside a Tupperware box and then just put it in my bag... no special containers.

Target has some darling insulated lunch bags. I have a small black tote-ish one. But going reto with a rectangular lunch pail is also really cool. My colleague has the cutest sponge-bob one!

Yep, I usually bring my lunch, and I carry it in a reusable small shopping bag that I got for free. Nothing special and nothing that I would mind having to get rid of if something bad happened to the bag.

I am wondering how you handbag loving ladies carry your lunch to work.
Do you have a separate lunch bag or do you place a lunch bag inside your tote?
How does your water bottle fit into this picture?
Thank you.

If I'm only going to the office I carry my lunch in a Moomin print wax cloth bag since work is only a short bus ride away. It's fun and practical; I can put it in my handbag/tote if I'm carrying a bigger one. Since it's wax cloth it will stop any small leakages if my smoothie bottle or lunch box decides to spill its' guts.
For longer trips, I still carry a mini cooler bag. Either in my hand or in my handbag. Once again, depending on the size of the bag I decide to carry that day.

I pack a salad almost every day in an OXO container ... and yes it’s really leak proof. Plus then a add some extras like yogurt in a container, bread, hard boiled eggs in a zip lock bag.
