I use a Kate Spade lunch box that is ivory with huge black polka dots and gold hardware. It’s super cute and the insulation works. I carry it on a black/gold Kate Spade tote bag. I feel fancee enough

Use an insulated lunch tote that goes inside your bag or has a handle to carry alone. They have them for great deals during back-to-school, and such nice designs, or plain, to be more professional.

A black neoprene lunch cooler would be my suggestion.

Does anyone have a suggestion for a professional looking bag that I can carry my lunch in? I have been running into my boss in the elevator and he always comments on my lunch and how he thinks it is funny I bring from home lol. Right now I shove it in with all my other work things in the bag provided for me by my job and I also carry a handbag. They bag tends to bulge kinda funny as it isn’t very wide. I usually have to carry a laptop with me.

Good luck with your hunt for a better carrying case for lunch! I’m lucky I have a short drive and usually carry a large purse into which I can slip my lunch container.

Also, don’t be ashamed to bring your lunch. It is responsible nutritionally and financially. Eliminating extra decisions like where and what to eat for lunch is also considered as a smart thing to eliminate daily stress.

I would hope your boss is just awkward at conversation and is actually impressed you bring your lunch. Your boss remembers you and talks to you, that seems good. Be proud and own your decision to bring your lunch. Take the conversation further by talking about your goals or what you cooked up for lunch.

I love taking my own lunch in when I have time to make it. What do you usually make ? I also make it for my DH and my nephew when he stays with us.
I carry mine in a little organic cotton tote which has the advantage of being washable, but a longchamp is a good option. I also saw this which looks tempting.

So I checked this out and got some to carry food for Summer picnics. It will keep things fresh and can fit baguettes, sandwiches, fruit, cake all the essentials.They are really good actually and the handle is great to use.

I just buy mine from TJ Maxx. They have many shapes, sizes, and price points. Some come with containers. I have my own containers so mine is insulated with no frills. I put it in my backpack.

I don’t see the big deal with bringing a lunch 99% of the people that I work do, but we only have 30 minute lunches. There’s no time to go anywhere anyway.

I have a separate lunch bag: it's an italian made Longchamp "Le Pliage" look-a-like canvas bag. Roomy, lightweight and easy to clean.

I updated my lunch bag a while ago. I got a Built NY neoprene cooler in a fun design from Amazon. I love it! It was cheap, lightweight, pretty and will fit a 1 L lunchbox, plus a 200 ML yogurt tub, a small container if jam/PB and a fruit or a 300 ML bottle if I'm taking coffee to work instead of a proper breakfast. These bags come in an array of colors and there's also a style with a shoulder strap.
