Thank you!!

Decided to wear a dress every weekend this month to determine which dress stays and goes.

Very nice! I have to admit, you make me want Ferragamo Vara.
They're the most comfortable heels I've worn. Lol. So I wear these often. Plus they go with everything so far!

I have tried them today, very beautiful, classic and elegant.
The blue patent leather with the small heel was the perfect match for my white skirt and blue polo.

The only downside was that I would need a "D" and worldwide there are only C'S available.
The SA said the additional stretching (in the width, I have wide feet) would not alter the appearance too much.

I wonder how they hold up over time.

Could you do me a BIG favour and post a modelling pic of/with your feet/shoes?
I am curious to see how they look when being used and not brandnew.

I had mine stretched at Bloomingdales when I bought them. I'll take the picture this evening!

But yeah, with all my patent Vara and Varina, I get the C and stretch as needed.

It might sound silly, that I see the Varas in your stylebook and the very next week I go and want to buy them for myself.
:wtf:

Truth is: I have been looking for new shoes 2 or 3 seasons - not finding anything that suited my feet/needs/expectation.

I obviously searched in the wrong places. Ferragamo is 100% me. I am not the "Tod's woman" I thought I could be. I would have to disguise myself whereas Ferragamo speaks my language, design and stylewise.
:girlsigh:

This might be nice, too, with the rubber sole:

Those are nice but a higher heel. I have something similar but in flats. The rubber sole is so nice. I eventually add rubber soles but to have them originally with rubber soles is much more comfortable.

Ferragamo is so cute and comfy! Definitely do try them out if they appeal to you. Seasonal styles go on sale too! The classics don't but department stores usually give a promo on them. [emoji4]

Happy birthday bake! Sorry I'm late to the party, so to say, but I do wish you health and success and a fantastic wardrobe, which you already have. And the confidence to wear what you love and leave what you don't love!

I notice I really like certain things because it's easy to put together on the fly.

There are times I plan an outfit, there are times I don't.

So for the past month-ish, this is what I've been wearing in rotation.

The above items were chosen because they fit in with what most people wear. Plus they are super comfy.

I've been scoping out how coworker's would react with designer items, so I slowly incorporate MK and Burberry. No comments so far. So I might slowly introduce my favorite LV items into the mix.

Capsule wardrobes are calming and comfy.

I had to laugh whe I read that you will slowly introduce LV soon, because last week I took my brand new Sac Noè to work for the first time ever and gues how visited me at my desk: the company's designated director. She must have noticed and wondered ... because my office is #teamDesigual #teamZARA :-s

have a fun weekend!

New capsule since the end of September. This will take me to the end of October, unless we get actual fall weather lol.

I'm liking long skirts. No possibility of wardrobe malfunctions, looks pretty, and not that casual. Keeps me covered during the slightly colder mornings and light material keeps me from overheating in the afternoon.

Most of all, comfy!

My jewelry options have lessened because my new watch is bulkier and I don't want bracelets to scratch it. [emoji850]

I did introduce my LV a week ago, and it's caught no attention! Which works well because of my injured wrist. The light canvas is much better than the thick leather Longchamp when weight absolutely matters.

Since I find I very much prefer skirts, I've loosened my quantity restriction on skirts and let go of trousers that are too snug. I've kept a few, though. Sometimes you just need trousers.
