I've been trying to figure out my style lately. Not sure I've found it but I have realized my preferences.

I like:
-bows
-Blazers/jackets
-floral skirts
-long skirts (knee length or longer)
-straight/skinny/cigarette trousers or jeans
-comfort
-rounded collars over pointed ones
-flats or low heels
-flats must have bows
-puff sleeves
-simple jewelry, mostly in silver tone
-bold colored scarves

What I don't like:
-buttoned blouses. it's so hard to find ones that work for me. I have like 3 that work for me.
- anything tight, makes me self conscious.
-motorcycle style jackets, they don't work with my torso
-cap sleeve, not flattering for my arms
-sheer anything, simply too lazy to wear so many layers, plus it's too hot
-shoes with laces lol
-dull colored prints. They come off drab on me.

Sometimes I tend to wear the same things repeatedly because I like them lol.

The Zara floral and the Jigsaw skirts have been my favorites lately and I've paired them with different tees. Or I wear my favorite polos.

But here's a new outfit

Saint James striped shirt
DVF trousers
MK flats, a gift from DBFs Mom (definitely gotta wear these! Haha)
Omega watch

Toying with the idea of possibly doing a uniform of sorts. I probably already do, just not defined lol.

Great look! Like how you pair the patterns!

Thanks! I gotta make sure I can wear as much as possible in many seasons, no matter how brief they are here! Haha

That tweed jacket is amazing!!!

Thank you! I was lucky to score it on sale!

Bake... This is a great thread!! Can't believe I've only just discovered it!!

Thank you, Sophie-Rose! [emoji4] I love getting feedback to all my fashion confusion haha.

I like your stylebook!

Marinières (stripes) are part of my "capsule": red/white, navyblue/white, lightblue/white.

You are making me want to try Ferragamo shoes. I always thought they were boring but they are nice.

Did this thread change the way you chose your weekday outfits? Did you start to dress up a bit without special occasions, compared to before this thread? Do you care more for details? Accessoires?
I will be watching this thread.

Thank you for the effort you are putting in the photo-collages!

Thank you!

This did change how I chose my outfits. I stopped saving things for special occasions, I decided to add more accessories. I also mix things I wouldn't have before it, with some help and input from others who visit the thread. [emoji4]

I'm not afraid to mix things and try things out at least once now. Before I always wore the same things. I'm also slowly figuring out what style I have while maintaining comfort.

I also am more aware of what I'm buying, and keeping in mind how they'll fit in with what I currently own. [emoji846]

Ferragamos are nice, I feel they have a nice touch with the bow, but aren't too busy and won't clash with my pattern heavy outfits. However, some find them uncomfortable, I find them comfy.

I should post more often. I'll try to post more stylebook collages. I've noticed I tend to creat a capsule and then I'll move on to another capsule from my closet.
