I just bought the beige midi tote from Nordstrom on sale. Might be my most expensive bag yet (I usually buy preloved). I can't decide if I will keep it cause the SA scared me by saying it's delicate and shouldn't be an every day bag. Gonna give it a week to think about it.

I agree with your SA, especially with ivory. I have tried it in store and the leather could easily get scratched and color transferred. I was planning to get the E/W this xmas but I just got something else.... gotta wait again.

Alright, so my sale find arrived and I was super excited to open it. As soon as I opened the box I knew the bag was just a smidge too small!

I am not a big bag person by any means, but this may be one of the smallest bags I own. I have 3 LV Nanos and they’re all a great size for me. This is quite a bit smaller than the Nano Speedy, Noe and Dora that I have. I think the only bags I have that are smaller than this are my CHANEL WOC’s, handmade evening clutches And my Betsy Johnson donut bags!

I thought about returning but to return would cost me about $100 CAD (more than 1/4 of what I paid after taxes and shipping!) to ship it back so I’m just going to keep it. Something to keep in mind if you ever consider a Strathberry purchase direct from their site and you’re outside of the UK.

If it were even just an INCH wider it would be the perfect size. I do have to take my key fob and house key out of my key holder to make my essentials fit. On the weekend when I don’t need to carry my bulky work ID and lanyard I think I can carry my usual essentials. Ultimately, I can make it work with some minor adjustments to certain items I carry. I’m also getting an OrbitKey organizer to replace my bulky key holder which I hope will help further.

It’s beautiful and well made though, and the colour combo is gorgeous. Happy to have found this on sale, I don’t think I could justify this bag at full price since it’s a bit small. I have my eyes on the MC Mini and think that would be a great size with room to spare for me.

Hi! I am thinking of ordering from the Strathberry website. I am in Canada too. Do you remember if you had to pay taxes customs and duties when the bag arrived or was everything included in checkout?

I don't believe I had to pay extra customs/duties but it wasn't calculated at checkout either. My purchase was about $400 CAD and it was shipped via FedEx so I was kind of surprised I didn't have to pay extra charges!

As far as I know, duties and customs are included if it’s shipped to Canada. I bought the Lana midi bucket bag. It’s very well made. I have worn it a few times. I am thinking about selling it. The bag is great quality, but just found it doesn’t suit my lifestyle.

Has anyone bought the Lana Bucket bag? I was wondering how the sizes compare between the regular, midi and nano. The regular looks huge and the midi looks small for a bucket bag. I can’t even imagine how small the nano is!
I bought the Lana Bucket bag (regular size). It is quite large, but seems appropriate for my size (I'm 5' 9"). I could see it overwhelming a more petite frame, though.

I have the midi Lana bucket bag. I’d say it’s not small by any means, but everyone sees it differently. It’s absolutely enough for everyday stuff - phone, keys, a long wallet, hair brush etc. I even threw in a thin cardigan by scrunching it up. For thicker cardigan, you can probably still throw it in there, you just might not be able to close it. It’s a magnetic closure. To me, closing the bag or not doesn’t affect its look - it’s a hobo bag, so it’s a casual look anyway. But, of course, for security reasons, you probably prefer it closed.

Thanks for this! I still wish there was a size in between midi and regular. I think that would be perfect for me.

I purchased the Midi Lana Bucket Bag during Strathberry's sale and really like the size of it. I think it's perfect for essentials + a lot of room for a little more, for days/weeks when that kind of flexibility can be helpful.

Even though I generally prefer a zipper or flap closure, I actually like this bag without them - it does give it a more casual look that I prefer for a bucket bag, and it also allows the hardware the shine. The strap configuration confused me a little but after fiddling with it a bit I was able to figure out how it can be both a shoulder bag and extended to crossbody, so I appreciate the versatility.

I snapped a quick picture of the inside - I use Stashio cloth organizers, which have some structure but have some give built into them, and was able to fit them comfortably (with room to spare on all sides) along with a pouch for cosmetics/hygienic products.

I unfortunately scratched the leather on my midi tote yesterday... I was so bummed cause I did it by accident with my own nails! It’s the white line going down the bag in the picture. It’s really noticeable from the side but not so much head on. I’m going to try to buff it out with some leather conditioner this weekend. So to answer your question, it does scratch but it’s not completely horrible or noticeable. The bag actually holds up pretty well and I’m pretty clumsy with my bags!

How's the bag holding up? Does it fit a 13" laptop?
