Thanks! It really brings out the contrast stitching. She has a Chloe Drew in a similar colour but it's in suede so strictly a summer bag. Thought this would be great for winter!
She hasn't been caught in the rain yet so I cant answer for bridle leather. I think the SA at the store gave me the usual "dont get the leather wet" melarchy. I'll let you know when we do get caught in the rain, living in the UK its bound to happen sometime soon, and I shall report back!
My strathberry ew mini is my rainy days bag. But in black color, i would say no bubbles no creasing, it’s durable.
I want to buy a lighter color too!
Kicking myself for not getting the ruby nano tote or mini/nano MC while I was in Edinburgh last year. It would’ve been so special to have a bag from a Scottish brand purchased in Scotland! The bag in the window caught my eye before I even knew what Strathberry was. I hate that people may assume that because Meghan Markle wore the tote and the brand got crazy publicity, that’s what introduced me to the brand but this was also before I knew she wore a Strathberry tote (don’t care about celebs and care even less about royals).
I’m still eyeing a bag from this brand, I’d love a nano or mini, tote or MC, but worried about reports that the nanos don’t fit phones. I can carry bare essentials (phone, keys in key holder, flat card case as wallet, lipstick and lotion) but would at least want the bag to hold these items without being completely stuffed.

Hi all, just want to share my experience with Strathberry East/West mini and Tote nano. I love them both and I purposely bought the smallest styles for weekend use. It definitely won’t fit a cellphone because of the size but the bags are gorgeous! I guess the bigger ones are more prone to scratches because of size. And since Strathberry uses the same chains in all bag sizes, the possibility of wearing out is lesser with smaller bags because of lighter weight. Hope this helps!

Wanted to add my two cents about the Strathberry East West bag. I adore it! I got the East/West with white edge and I'm so glad I did, as there were many variations but this style made the leather accordion detailing stand out. Really clean sharp lines as you can see, and the gold hardware and crossbody chain match really well when I wear gold jewelry (as I often do as you can see from my La Carmina blog outfits).
It's large enough to fit my belongings for a night out, I also like the versatility of the strap design so you can wear it over the shoulder or cross body. I had other Strathberry bags, the midi tote and nano purse but I much prefer this one. It's also easier to open and close, and the sizing is just right. So far the leather hasn't scratched and has held up well, and I use this handbag a lot.

Looks fab! When I got to check them out in person, I actually really liked the leather. It's too bad about the pound to USD conversion, because it makes them a little more expensive for us Americans!
Wow both bags are stunning. Thanks for sharing! I love how understated and under the radar the brand is, you really hardly ever see any in the wild! Is the east west leather lined? I cant tell. I think at some point I'll succumb to getting a tweed one for the DW
Actually I've seen them in Nordstroms Canada, in the bag department! It's a good way people can check them out in person.
It is not lined but it has a really nice leather interior in light tan/grey color. It almost feels a bit like suede inside, a soft texture. It's durable and has a great touch.
Saks has them too in Canada - I really wanted a MC Mini after seeing it in person! But I'm going to hold out for their FW2019 collection.
