How comfortable is the chain strap? I wear all my bags crossbody but haven’t worn one with a chain. I worry it will dig into my shoulder. Thoughts?

It was 4 AM where I am when the sale went live and by the time I checked at 6 AM everything I’d want was sold out!
I did check back just now and noticed a few new additions that weren’t there this morning and managed to score this one!
I’ve been looking at the MC nano or mini and thought this would be a good combo for fall.

Alright, so my sale find arrived and I was super excited to open it. As soon as I opened the box I knew the bag was just a smidge too small!
I am not a big bag person by any means, but this may be one of the smallest bags I own. I have 3 LV Nanos and they’re all a great size for me. This is quite a bit smaller than the Nano Speedy, Noe and Dora that I have. I think the only bags I have that are smaller than this are my CHANEL WOC’s, handmade evening clutches And my Betsy Johnson donut bags!
I thought about returning but to return would cost me about $100 CAD (more than 1/4 of what I paid after taxes and shipping!) to ship it back so I’m just going to keep it. Something to keep in mind if you ever consider a Strathberry purchase direct from their site and you’re outside of the UK.
If it were even just an INCH wider it would be the perfect size. I do have to take my key fob and house key out of my key holder to make my essentials fit. On the weekend when I don’t need to carry my bulky work ID and lanyard I think I can carry my usual essentials. Ultimately, I can make it work with some minor adjustments to certain items I carry. I’m also getting an OrbitKey organizer to replace my bulky key holder which I hope will help further.
It’s beautiful and well made though, and the colour combo is gorgeous. Happy to have found this on sale, I don’t think I could justify this bag at full price since it’s a bit small. I have my eyes on the MC Mini and think that would be a great size with room to spare for me.

Does anyone know if the tweed items are focused around F/W only? When I bought the midi Tote in the London flagship there were many to choose from but online I cannot seem to find any! The FW campaign that @karman has shared doesn't show any either (and moved so quickly I could barely see the bags properly). Can anyone shine light on this? I suppose I could contact my SA in London and ask but PF usually has way better info!
Possibly? Sorry I've got no idea of which bags belong to which season. But basically the bags on display when I bought mine which was around early March time this year. The one you posted looks exactly like the type of material I saw, but was looking at the shoulder bag rather than the midi Tote for some variation. I just dont know if Strathberry offered those bags as a one off or it was part of their general collection, like Chanel does (who alternative between a thinner or thicker tweed dependant on SS or FW).
I’m still getting into Strathberry but I believe the tweed items are just part of their SS collection! Their seasonal stuff sells very quickly it seems. They had this beautiful peacock bag with a peacock feather and it was gone within days of its release.
