I am so over this and beyond frustrated with this SA. I messaged him Monday about the exchange and he was off. So yesterday I don’t hear anything all day and at 5:00, I sent a message reminding him to overnight the love bracelet since I need it for an event Friday. He responds that he hasn’t seen the package and will go inquire about it. I’m sorry but shouldn’t he have done that first thing yesterday knowing I was waiting long enough as it is for his mistake? So here is where it gets real fun!

He messages me that I owe an extra $50 for tax. I tell my husband and he said to just pay it and get my bracelet asap. After I hit pay and submitted it, I pull out the receipt and realized my tax is lower than what I already paid in store. I paid $464 in store plus an extra $50 yesterday. Well my tax is $414 here. So I sent him a note saying he actually owed me money And my tax was 6% which is lower. He called me apologizing, refunded me the $50 from the initial sale and said my bracelet would go out the next day, meaning today and would send me tracking info. Then he said he will wait til “tomorrow” to figure out how to Cancel the new $50 overpayment he charged because they were closing. Sounded like he didn’t even want to deal with it. Now I’m waiting on that and a tracking number. My husband said I need to contact corporate about this whole fiasco of a sale.

I honestly want to just say forget it and just get a refund at this point and was so close to telling the SA that last night but was trying not to overreact.

I never want to deal with this SA again. I am beyond pissed and frustrated. This should have been a simple exchange for their mistake and it just keeps getting worse and more annoying.
Oh no…so sorry you are still dealing with this. I have been following this thread and was hoping by now that you were wearing your new bracelet. I would definitely contact corporate regarding this experience. Keep us posted. I hope it gets resolved soon!

Thank you. I feel I have been patient enough at this point and keep hoping it’ll get better but what a fiasco. I was tempted to just get a refund from him and call Customer Service to see if they would help but I didn’t want to overreact or do something impulsively by getting a refund instead but what a total moron this guy is. And he’s so passive aggressive with his responses. Ughhhhhhh. I’m so beyond over it at this point that it’s completely ruined the whole bracelet for me which really sucks.
 
Does this SA know he's disappointed you? Wondering if he knows you're unhappy and has had an adequate opportunity to right that?
Oh yes he knew. I told him on the phone when I called to let him know he sold me a scratched up bracelet. Lol. I was trying to be patient and give him the chance to fix it but internally I wanted to yell WTHHH LOL. I definitely stayed calm and told him how upset and disappointed I was and was giving him the chance to fix it. I will not be using him for anything in the future. Ever lol.

I did get pushy yesterday. It still had not shipped or been packaged yesterday so I pushed him to make sure it got shipped out yesterday. Finally got the FedEx email at almost 7pm that it was picked up and should be here today. I’m excited but nervous lol. I don’t want to get my hopes too high.

I did receive the pouches from Customer service yesterday. If I learned anything, for myself at least, stick to ordering online or calling to place an order through Customer Service. They are so amazing and helpful.

That sounds just awful. Can you maybe deal with the store manager at this point? I would be so upset with this SA and how he literally ruined your Cartier experience. I agree, you should definitely call corporate and complain. This is unacceptable.

I agree. Order online from the website. That's what I did for all of my Cartier pieces and every one of them arrived brand new and flawless. I've been nothing but satisfied with their online service.

In my year-long experience the SAs in the US are waaaaay sub-par to (most) Cartier locations in Europe. Exceptions are Zurich, Berlin of course, and Place Vendôme. Would avoid shopping in the US and buy in Europe next time possible ... and most likely cheaper.

I’m waiting for my bracelet to arrive today. If it comes scratched again….. I don’t even know what I’ll do, but probably blow up lol. But I’m trying to think positive….it’ll be perfect! Just need to keep chanting that to myself today. Lol.

It’s here! And it’s perfect. It was fully wrapped when it arrived.

When I tried it in store, it wasn’t so loose. It’s extremely loose on me now and the bracelet turns to the side completely on my arm. It’s uncomfortable when that happens though. Does anyone else have that issue? I have to fix it everytime it turns like if I flip my arm over, it sits very weird. I would have sized down but my wrist bone is larger and size 16 gets stuck above my wrist bone and it felt more uncomfortable to wear.
