Spend threshold for B/K/C

Should I switch SA if I’m well over 2:1 and no offers? My SA never mentioned a wishlist and when I’ve asked after 1:1 they brushed it off.
I kept my options pretty opened regarding color and hardware as long as it’s a 30 or smaller
Yes. In my experience, the spending is only secondary. SAs/SMs usually make things magically appear if you have a good rapport with them and they like you. Of course you have to buy stuff. But after 6 months of buying consistently and in substantial amounts..and still..no coveted item appears, then it's time to move on. Just speaking from experience.

Given the competition for desirable bags - I’m curious how much spend matters vs rapport w your SA? I’m relatively new to H, but have seen my fair share of YouTubers who were offered bags w no purchase history in NYC or UK shops (many in 2020 I think). On the other hand - as has been mentioned - clients regularly spend 2:1 or 3:1 before their first offer. Can any experienced shoppers help me understand?

I think the most important thing to understand is that unfortunately there is a lot of lying and pretending in the Hermes community about how one gets their items. Take all “miracle” stories with a huge grain of salt. Rapport matters because your SA has to nominate you to the SM for bag offer approval. Spend matters because the SM is going to decide by looking at your profile. I’m sure known names get some leniency, and summer of 2020 was an unprecedented time for everyone getting a bag easily, but don’t be misled that spend doesn’t matter, especially for a normal client.

Hi!
I’m fairly new too. I’ve been slowly building my rapport and relationship with my current SA at MP for couple months now and she’s been nothing but amazing and helpful.

IMO, relationship with SA does matter, because the SA is the one who has to present you to SM for the holy grail bags. And yes they look through your profile and purchases history. My personal spending right now is close to 3:1 but then again, I only buy stuffs that I love and I enjoy every pieces that I owned.

I’m still waiting for my first B/K offer and my SA got my wishlist and I know that my offer is coming because she’s been hinting it to my DH. Granted I’ve got non-quota bags within the first month that I worked with her.

I can’t speak for the YouTubers that got offered B/K, those might have connections or something. But my personal experience that I have so far has been great.

just a little patience and going down the orange H rabbit hole will do the trick for you ;)

The YouTubers don’t have connections and the majority of their stories are BS. Don’t be misled.

This is probs the best summary I’ve seen so far! Ofc relationships matter on a personal level w SAs, and spend is one of the only ways to differentiate clients on paper.

The miracle stories are a little crazy making (used to make me feel like if I JUST had the right outfit or vibes, I’d unlock an offer on the spot), so taking them w a grain of salt seems wise.

Not sure if this is the right thread to ask but does anyone have experience or know if the second offer is easier than the first? Not sure how this year will look with low stock  hopefully things get better!

TIA!

I shop in the BH store and have spent 2:1 already for 2nd QB. I got an offer around 1.5:1 but it was for a b30 and I’ve been wanting a b25 for over a year now

Hi Tina! Would you be willing to share what types of items you’ve purchased to get your 1:1 b30?

My first QB (B30) I received after spending about 17k. Never got a QB for 1:1 yet. It’s always been more. I may be crazy but I keep note of all my purchases before tax. Here’s my list for my first and only QB so far:
