Spend threshold for B/K/C

Hello,

I heard from a person that shops in Palo Alto Hermes that when you accept/buy a constance it resets your spend ratio similar to when you accept/buy a B or K. Does anyone know if this is also true for the SF Hermes store?

this seems to be contradictory to what I hear that a constance is NOT a quota bag in SF or PA, but curious what people know?

Hi, i prefer to spend online. Does it effect my chances for BKC? I feel that stores are too formal and i can get the home and shoes stuff online without any unnecessary interaction, whenever i want. Would appreciate your feedback. Shall i actually try to make an effort or introduce myself to a certain SA?

The only way to get a quota bag is to shop in store. Online purchases will not help toward that goal and may in fact work against you should you ever start a store relationship.

I do not know how you will get a BKC unless you spend in a boutique. People advocate sticking to one SA, one store, bc the SA has to make your case to the SM for a QB

Anyone’s gotten b25/k25 neutral colors at a not so competitive US city recently? Just curious of what your spent threshold was and is it really 1:2+ now. Thank you!
I would think that a not so competitive US city would get fewer B25/K25, so it might actually be a bit harder than an urban flagship. There are plenty of customers who are higher than 1:3 or who don’t track as closely who want these bags. JMO

i agree with @luckylove that it’s best just to buy what you love and eventually the bags follow.

I feel you, sometimes I don't want any interaction - just give me the stuff! Lol

Sorry to say that online purchases at H don't really count towards getting a B/K/C. If you like to get a B/K/C, you have to have a good relationship with your SA so she can look after the items that you like. Go to a store and buy from an SA that you like instead of buying online. If you have a good relationship, moving forward, you can text her or e-mail her what you like and she can send you a payment link. Then your items (most items) can be delivered to your address. It's comparable to buying online yet you have an SA to look after what you like.

Thank you for the explanation! How do you choose an sa or store?
The tried and true method is simply go and see who you click with in terms of personality in the store most convenient to you. If you hate the ambiance and retail culture of that store, then, if possible, try another close by. If you truly only really want BKC, and a few one of purchases, I strongly suggest purchasing from resellers (there are plenty who are legitimate who are not overpriced, and many heritage leather 30B/28K and others that I own come from them). I do currently shop boutique and have had QB offers, but I don’t really track my relatively high prespend (in non leather categories) so my experience may not be applicable.

i don’t think it would work to calculate time frame of purchases like this, bc IMO SAs want customer that are regular, buy across all categories, and who will not stop shopping once they get their BKC, but YMMV
