Did the SA at least give you a (ballpark) figure if s/he said "no way" at 9:1? I would also hope other offers were presented along the way..

It also depends on where you shop. They are much easier to obtain at the BH store and it is very unlikely BH would ever transfer a Doll or Picto to another store.

OMG! Time to start flying first class to BH and staying at the Beverly Hills Hotel for that kind of pre-spend😭😭😭. I actually believe at BH it is more about relationship than prespend. Fame does not hurt either, not necessarily social media, but being well known in the entertainment industry.

This is why my SA tells me to ask for all the super special bags in Paris. Because I'm never going to get one in my home store lol.

Here I totally agree. I know that it's possible to get two at BH without crazy spend but with a very long and loyal relationship and a great SA, not necessarily a famous celeb or in entertainment at all. I also think BH must buy a lot more of them at Podium than other flagships. 😉
Oddly I cannot assist regarding the difficulty in Paris at FSH/ GV because I have never asked my SAs about it.

I don’t have the global shopping experience some of the lovely members here do, but I shop in London (and occasionally Paris), and I’ve never felt any ‘need ‘ to spend six figures. (unless, of course, one genuinely wants six-figure items lovely sofas! ) In my experience, most SAs can tell the difference between genuine enthusiasm for the brand and quiet desperation.

Have people's experiences in getting a second QB been similar to their experience with the first? I realize that everyone's journey is a bit different, but I'd love to try to generally set expectations for myself.

I got my first QB in about 3.5 months and just shy of 1:1 prespend (neutral B30 from Madison Ave). I'll probably be spending a bit slower this time, so I expect it may take a little bit longer, but is it reasonable to expect a similar process for my second QB? I'd be asking for a B25, B30, K25, or K28 in blue, dark green, gold, or burgundy (I'm open to any of those bags, so I'm thinking it makes sense to mention that I'm open to any? Or is it better to narrow it in more?)

I am a former client at Madison Maison (from 09/2023 to 06/2025). If you are not a high spender, the SA may expect to offer you one QB a year. (You may also end up with a pre-spend ratio of 1.5-2 to 1 for your next QB.) "2 QBs a year" requires substantial spending, IMO. The first QB seems almost always easy for new clients. (That's how H plays the game to lure new clients, as I noticed.)

In my theory (which is not proven), if you are not a high spender,* and as long as you spend 1:1 after each QB, you are pretty much scheduled to get one QB** in June (since this is the month you got your first QB). Good luck!

Note: * I personally hate to see when someone says, "my store is competitive," because it means nothing to me. It is all about pre-spend and SA relationship to get the QBs. (But, I accept that it is my UO.)

ETA #1: ** I meant regular QBs that you mentioned (e.g., B25, B30, K25, or K28 in regular leather).

ETA #2: The director and SAs in the leather department have the information about spending of their clients.

- Tier C: Those who spend a 1:1 ratio regularly each year. --> 1 QB** each year.​

- Tier B: Those who spend a 2-5:1 ratio regularly after each QB. --> 2 QBs a year.​

- Tier A: Those who spend a 5:1+ ratio regularly after each QB. --> Blue box, etc.​

This is my guestimate, however, in Madison Maison. (And, I am happy to hear/learn how others think of this.)

Thanks for your thoughts and info! If I do reach 1:1 sooner than next June, would that just mean that I'm then kind of waiting until June to hit, or that the bag may come sooner if I keep spending? I ask this knowing that we're all theorizing!
