I was offered a black K25 in Epsom last week and will pick it up this Wednesday. Black/Noir is an absolute classic and the size 25 is the most popular, so I guess they should be offered regularly.
TYSM, I was a little worried there since noir is a classic color and an absolute favorite that it would be difficult to obtain

Based on my shopping and a few friends in California small qbs in noir are hard to come by. All of us had to get a couple of other colors before finally getting black (took 4+ years, obviously with waiting in between accepted qb offers), even though noir was top in some of our wishlists and we keep hinting/remindinf. Seems like they order more gold bags in our store.

Update: I am happy to provide my data on acquiring QBs and non-QBs in the US. (I am done with it, so why not? 😅)

I have purchased 7 bags from the US-based boutiques and 4 of them are considered non-QBs.

Data points:
  1. July 2023: Herbag Messenger 39 black/black/phw
    • No pre-spend; I ordered it from H website.
  2. August 2023: Lindy 26 black/ghw
    • No pre-spend; I bought it as a walk-in client in CT.
  3. November 2023: Birkin 30 black/ghw
    • I started working with my current SA since September 2023.
    • Pre-spend ratio was 0.9319:1 [i.e., $10,810 pre-spend for a bag costing $11,600, all before taxes]
  4. March 2024: Maxi Kelly 42 etoupe/phw
    • This is considered a men's bag (i.e., non-QB), so I assumed no pre-spend.
  5. June 2024: Kelly Messenger PM black/phw
    • No-prespend; I obtained it from one of boutiques in NJ as a walk-in client. I only purchased this bag alone.
  6. November 2024: Birkin 35 gold/phw
    • Pre-spend ratio was 1.5541:1 [i.e., $21,136 pre-spend for a bag costing $13,600, all before taxes]
  7. June 2025: Kelly Sellier 25 SO parchemin/cognac with ghw
    • Pre-spend ratio was 0.0851:1 [i.e., $2,170 pre-spend for a bag costing $25,500, all before taxes]
    • I did not include the money I spent on the private sale event in April 2025. If I include this, the pre-spend ratio would be 0.2917:1 [i.e., $7,347.50 pre-spend for a bag costing $25,500, all before taxes]

I started my H journey in the summer of 2023 in the US, and today is my last day of H journey in the US as well. I will focus only on the European boutiques. I hope everyone enjoys the H shopping.

Do SAs ask to reconfirm wishlists just to be…nice? For context, I never bring up bags with my SA; usually my SA will bring it up during our shopping appointments. Recently, my SA wanted to reconfirm the colors on my wishlist, which made me excited and hopeful, but confused at the same time because my prespend isn’t close to qualify for a bag imo, especially since the one on my wishlist is highly coveted and our store rarely gets shipments of it. But I feel like there’s no point in asking to reconfirm a wishlist unless the SA is actively trying to find a bag for you, unless they’re just trying to be nice lol. My previous qbs were obtained with relatively low prespend, but my current prespend is even lower than that.

She might be trying to get you something but is having a hard time fulfilling your wish.
So my SA knows I really only love pink bags (my fav color), but it’s difficult to get that at my store because all the high spenders are natural tone girlies so that’s what our store mostly has.
At my last visit, my SA was like “does it have to be pink? Would Craie work?” Then she offered me a Constance in that color.

My SA also recently reached out to confirm my wishlist. I think it’s because I am nearing 6 months from my last QB so my SA wants to be sure what I want before submitting me for a bag. But really it’s anyone’s guess.

interesting to see more people I wonder if its time of the year? Two of my friends told me this recently happened to them the past 2 weeks, both are at 4:1 and 3:1 for their 1st and second so maybe they're preparing for the next round of submissions?
