I've had a pretty good journey, my SA has turned around two QBs for me in less than a year. I don't really want any other bags except a Kelly to go and/or Constance to go. Do I need to keep prespending for these? I already told him I'd like one of these and he said he doesn't have them at the moment but he'd keep an eye out but no text yet. I do wonder if he thinks I've been "taken care" of for some time now and I just need to wait around 6 months? Or do I need to spend a small amount like <5k during the waiting time? Would appreciate any advice.
Every situation is different but I would imagine continued consistent spend would be important. If he gets the sense that you will not be a client beyond these bags it is unlikely that he will go out of his way to help you so close to two QBs in a short time frame.
I don’t think you need to spend for them but they are an item that they generally can not ship and they get snapped up pretty quickly. I’m guessing he will have one for you (assuming your specs are broad) on your next visit but probably won’t text to have you fly in to pick one up before then.
Is that a new change? Or boutique dependent? He told me non QBs can be shipped, even proper bags like Kelly Elan.
I agree, I think if he doesn't see some type of small spending since your last QB he will not want to offer you the non qb.
Where is your home store? Dallas, Houston and Hawaii can't ship any bags even mini Evies. Policy changed since Feb 2025.
Ah interesting. I’m a remote client at a US boutique. When my SA mentioned he could ship non QBs pretty sure it was before Feb of this year. I am seriously contemplating switching over to a boutique close to my home now. I don’t want anymore QBs and still would like to shop small amounts here and there, and hopefully be offered some non-QBs at some point. Its just so much closer but much more competitive.
I'm also a remote client. My Dallas SA told me it was the last time that she can ship when she offered the Kelly Danse and I accepted last year in Feb. Look like we all have to pick up all bags in person from now on.
My SA also told me she will have to check my ID every time I pick up QB in order to verify I'm the account owner. It is just a new policy.
