In Europe it counts in most places (not sure if in Paris it does, probably not); I heard that from different SAs. NQBs count too.
Do you think prespend ratio will come down due to economy uncertainty?

For some long tenured, high spending clients perhaps. There are also always better opportunities for high net worth clients, VIPs, or those with potential for high future spend. (I don’t fall into these categories lol)
But, I don’t see prespend coming down significantly bc that would damage the core brand and valuation / share price of the company. What has kept the value of the company up is the perception that the coveted H client is somewhat impervious to economic downturn.

I think it will. A lot of non-QBs are now handed out freely to drive sales and while I don't think they will ever do that with QBs the ratio will likely fall as reseller prices soften. Ultimately, it's a supply and demand game - China has seen pre-spend come down across the board due to weaker economic conditions. I know people who snatched up coveted bags during COVID without any pre-spend (granted a much bigger crisis at the time than economic uncertainty). I actually think newer clients are having an easier time getting QBs now fwiw. JMO.
Nqbs count in prespend?? Wow) i didn’t know that. In which countries if I can ask?
I know it does for the Netherlands but also a Nqb will slow down you QB offer.
My first QB was a Kelly last year, 2:1 ratio in Toronto. And I’m still waiting on my second QB (Birkin) this year, officially at 4:1…
in the UK they told me yes, then they said no, but they consider total amount of profile

Popular belief is that while all non bag purchases count toward prespend, some categories "count" more than others so any SLG may count a bit less than jewelry, rtw etc. I highly recommend simply buying what you love and not fretting too much about categories that count or prespend. Just enjoy! Happy shopping!
No I’ve avoided any non-quota bags this past cycle because I wanted to focus on a Birkin only. This is purely based on watches, jewelry, dinnerware, and shoes with the majority being watches and jewelry.
