Ah interesting. I’m a remote client at a US boutique. When my SA mentioned he could ship non QBs pretty sure it was before Feb of this year. I am seriously contemplating switching over to a boutique close to my home now. I don’t want anymore QBs and still would like to shop small amounts here and there, and hopefully be offered some non-QBs at some point. Its just so much closer but much more competitive.
You could ask if they ship to the Boutique that is closer to your hometown.

Is something like a Himalayan Kelly bracelet (2.7k) considered stronger than another leather bracelet/other leather goods?

I was about to buy one yesterday but then chose a teddy kelly pocket belt and couldn’t tell if my SA preferred the bracelet. I loved both pieces but felt like belt might be more useful. She didn’t show me the belt until after I said I’d take the bracelet… then I said I’d rather take the belt once she showed me. I felt somewhat guilty… thought perhaps himalaya might be hard to sell and she would’ve got more commission or something.

Or am I overthinking and she doesn’t care that much. Is it something coveted that she could sell to others?

You are WAYYYYY over thinking this. Only buy what you want. Neither of these items is more helpful to her than the other. Just shop normally and have fun! :flowers:

I’d still go closer bc it’s more convenient. If you want a few non QBs and aren’t in a rush, it may just be easier :)
Even if the closer store is more competitive re QB allocation

ETA: if you are still waiting for a KTG or CTG, I dont think prespend matters given your past history. If you see stuff you want to buy with this SA, and can check in re the SLG, all well and good.

I am at 3.5:1 in just under 6m in super competitive east coast location. Any advice for spending at this point? I love everything I have but I also want to be mindful. My SA is fantastic and my WL is for a size 25, I am just antsy LOL. Is it just time at this point?

I am newbie but my reading following this forum and some of my friends (who shop in the Bay Area) is that you need to be patient 😅 I don’t think spending more is optimal at this point.

Thanks! Also a newbie LOL sounds like that might be the case but it's hard to determine how much to spend like if I like something is it better to wait on big ticket items until after QB? Like is it bad to suddenly slow down will that reflect poorly? I am just not sure what spending should be in the meantime.

I average between 5X per accepted bag offers, but that’s just how it turns out bc I like RTW. Longer standing clients seem to find that bag offers are a bit more plentiful with the current economy. But, if you’ve been shopping for less than 6 months, I assume it’s just a matter of time.

I’d also ask your SA what’s the likelihood/ timeframe so you can manage expectations :D Hope you get your 25 very soon ! I shop the Madison Maison

ETA: when you talk to your SA, you can also get the sense of whether the big ticket item you want is likely to sell out imminently. Most clients are out of town in summer months which should give you extra time :)

If I were you I would talk to the SA somewhat frankly to see how far you are from the QB and I don’t know how often you go in, but I would go less frequently and stick to my comfort level of spending and only buy what I would absolutely want NOW. There are many nice things to buy but they aren’t necessities - it’s for long term. They may be out next few months but some other nice things will show up. If you have a good rapport with your SA, I think they will understand.
eTA: this might not work as well as I may think… I have no real US store experience and just have lived vividly through people‘a experience shared here 😆

oh wow 5x is a lot! but yes it's easy to spend when you like a lot of stuff :heart: thanks I wasn't sure if I could discuss, as I don't want it to seem like I ~only~ want a bag since I love the bags but also love lots of stuff they have and do want to prove I am in it for the long haul haha. Definitely a good point about summer too, will keep that in mind :) I guess patience is a virtue but it's def hard lol!

a great point about getting things that will sell out/I MUST have now. I am comfy turning things down I don't love, but there is so much to love :P It's hard though bc if I have a high spend now and later I spend less I don't want him to think I slowed bc something was wrong, might just be the season. Appreciate the feedbacks!!
