Out of curiosity, where does "Home" sit in this ranking? Not talking about sofas loldo fine jewelry clients get “better” offers than say, mainly RTW clients?

Again, same commission so they won’t really care unless there is some unbeknownst dearth in one category where someone shopping there would help meet underperforming goals.Out of curiosity, where does "Home" sit in this ranking? Not talking about sofas lol

I'm happy my soleil breakfast cups finally arrived in the store only 11 months after I placed the order! Except now my package is lost at FSH somewhere..............Pay in full in advance, then wait 18 months only to be told third quarter next year. Not joking

Yep, unless the store manager is promoting blankets that particular month and you buy five... 😬 😬Again, same commission so they won’t really care unless there is some unbeknownst dearth in one category where someone shopping there would help meet underperforming goals.
That is exactly what stops me from collecting H tableware, I don't have the patience to wait 18 months and learn afterward that I'd have to wait for more. Sorry to hear about that experience!Pay in full in advance for about 5K worth of glassware, then wait 18 months (as per the original estimate)
only to be told third quarter next year. Not joking (and I still don’t have about half the champagne or wine
that I want (But I didn’t have to prepay that half and my SA is on the lookout).
We went elsewhere for plates.
lol. You probably need to have a large estate to accommodate 5 blankets at home. Continuing my "buy what you like and need" matraYep, unless the store manager is promoting blankets that particular month and you buy five... 😬 😬
you are over thinking and maybe too influenced by the online hype of this being a “game”. The one that makes a better profile is what you truly love because (most/many) SAs respond best to customers who truly love Hermes and are enthusiastic purchasers (with fat wallets). How about the same amount of a watch and a jacket (let say both are 6-7k), which one can make a better profile?
Thanks.

It’s fine. A new SA might even give you a better shot bc of a lower case load of clients and extra help from an SM
Mine is sales specialist. Just curious - are they in a lower ranking than SA?Does it matter if their card says "Sales Specialist" vs "Managing Director" or something else? Just wondering if there is hierarchy of SAs and some have a better chance of getting a quata bag than others. i was matched with a "Sales Specialist." Is that ok? Thanks.
When you say she was offered "right after", does that mean literally on the same day?Yes! My friend got a K25 Etuope offer right after she purchased the NEW H watch with a diamond frame lol 😂
I am now in the 'waiting' period, I would like to get a SO watch at my next appointment but my SA always shows me the latest jackets which I kindly turned down. So I am still thinking about what to buy next......
Her SA immediately said “I am working on it”, and she got the bag after 5-6 weeks 😉When you say she was offered "right after", does that mean literally on the same day?
Which watch? The diamond ones seem to range from 6k to 38k 😆Yes! My friend got a K25 Etuope offer right after she purchased the NEW H watch with a diamond frame lol 😂

Thanks. Do you have any insights into the exotics situation in boutiques surrounding NY area? Say Short Hills, Greenwich or Boston boutiques. Are they also easier to come by, or are they more appealing to the old money crowd?I don’t think so. (Well, for starters I think exotics are easier to come by than regular leather bags because they are difficult to sell and don’t hold their value as well, but that is a different conversation.) If I had to choose one, I’d say high ticket (full leather) RTW purchases are more “impressive” than equally priced fine jewelry as the profit margins for RTW are likely much higher and clothing is more “consumable“ than jewelry so it’s easier to think a client would buy several full leather clothing items than pave bracelets, for example. In actuality, it likely doesn’t matter to the store whatsoever, unless all the other clients tend to favor one category and thus a client buying in the other category is helping with rare sales goals. The commission on both lines is the same. As always, best just to buy what you actually want and not bother over-gaming the system.
Just let your SA know that you are interested in an exotic (and that you understand the price point) and see what they say. The bigger the store, the larger the budget, the more exotics they can order.Thanks. Do you have any insights into the exotics situation in boutiques surrounding NY area? I think it also depends on what specific exotic bag you want... if you want a exotic B30, I think they would be very happy to sell that to you with not a lot of purchase history (personal experience.) Same with a croc Constance. Can't tell you how many I've turned down LOL. But if you are interested in a croc MK or B25/K25, that would be much harder. As far as exotic leathers, I personally think ostrich is the easiest to get offered, then full croc, then full lizard due to its rarity. Not sure where touch croc and touch lizard fit in. Anyways, just my experience...Thanks. Do you have any insights into the exotics situation in boutiques surrounding NY area? Say Short Hills, Greenwich or Boston boutiques. I know the others are also small but my gut says Boston is not your best bet.Thanks. Do you have any insights into the exotics situation in boutiques surrounding NY area?
