I think I have my eyes set on a store in the US I want to make my "home store." It's not my actual home but it's a place I'll likely travel to about 2-3 times a year. Is it ok to ask to put the b25 on my wishlist on my first visit? Since I can't go in regularly. Also ok to tell them I'm not local? I'd like to be as open as I can . Thanks.
I’m in a similar situation. I would make some purchases first of items you’re interested in and then communicate your wishlist. Good luck!

Hi there,

I met my SA for 8 months, my prespend ratio is abt 1:1.7, my SA asked if she could share our pic with her manager (introduce me to the SM?). Is it a good news if she planned to introduce me to the SM?

My wish is B/k 25 and I am going there next month for something, will try to make it to 1:2. The store I shop at isn’t a competitive one (small store), do you think I have a chance this year? Thanks.

Yes

Does it matter if their card says "Sales Specialist" vs "Managing Director" or something else? Just wondering if there is hierarchy of SAs and some have a better chance of getting a quata bag than others. i was matched with a "Sales Specialist." Is that ok? Thanks.

It’s fine. A new SA might even give you a better shot bc of a lower case load of clients and extra help from an SM

When it comes to exotic B/Ks or hot neutrals, do fine jewelry clients get “better” offers than say, mainly RTW clients?
I don’t think so. (Well, for starters I think exotics are easier to come by than regular leather bags because they are difficult to sell and don’t hold their value as well, but that is a different conversation.) If I had to choose one, I’d say high ticket (full leather) RTW purchases are more “impressive” than equally priced fine jewelry as the profit margins for RTW are likely much higher and clothing is more “consumable“ than jewelry so it’s easier to think a client would buy several full leather clothing items than pave bracelets, for example. In actuality, it likely doesn’t matter to the store whatsoever, unless all the other clients tend to favor one category and thus a client buying in the other category is helping with rare sales goals. The commission on both lines is the same. As always, best just to buy what you actually want and not bother over-gaming the system.

So I just saw a post on Facebook that made me understand how subjective the term “pre-spend” is amongst shoppers. This woman said in her post that she has shopped at George V and Severes many times, but never at FSH. She got lucky and scored a bag with no prespend at FSH.
In my mind, when I think of prespend, I think of how much has someone spent at Hermes overall and not store specific because it could be that your high spend at this location helped you score a bag in a second if the second store is able to view your profile/history.
Re-wiring my brain now because I was delulu into thinking most of these people walk into a store and got a bag without ever buying anything from Hermes loll.

In Paris it is possible to purchase bags without pre-spend, especially with a lottery appointment.
