Is your wishlist very specific? I was in the exact same situation as you, waiting for my first QB. I got my B25 in just under 4 months with my new SA after about 1:1 spend (prior to that I spent a little under 1.5x with my previous SA).
The time I was with the Sales Director, they essentially asked me exactly what i wanted so i narrowed down my first choice (exact color, 30cm Birkin in togo with 25cm as a backup). Then she had me do a broader range of specs for 2nd and 3rd choice both in sizes and colors.

Maybe you can ask her something like “if my top choices aren’t available right now, what do you think about if I expanded my wishlist?” and see how she reacts/responds to that

I could use some advice. My SA left H and I have been working with a new SA since last January. Since that time, I have truly enjoyed working with her, and have spent over 3:1 with her. During my first visit with my new SA, she saw my history and asked me to go over my wishlist. During a recent visit, she even introduced me to the Sales Director, who also asked me about my wish list and my holy grail items, and sent me home that trip with a nice bottle of champagne with my purchases. I am getting antsy because desipte these really nice visits, I have not been offered any bags. I want to be respectful and have not ask directly about when I might receive a bag offer, but given that it is now June, I am getting a bit antsy. I am just not sure how to address this with my new SA because I am still building that relationship. At the same time, I am not going to keep dropping tens of thousands of dollars at H if I am ultimately going to have to buy a bag through different means. I welcome any advice! Thank you!
Are you asking for something special or limited that might be taking a while to appear at your store?

If you’ve already accepted and want the bag you should not decline it at this point. Yes, it is likely to reset your prespend, especially if it was low to begin with. IMO this bag was offered because they knew you would not be competitive for a quota bag any time soon but want to keep you shopping with them (and SAs get commission on Constances so they’re still getting a benefit). We’ve also sometimes seen first offers at low spends that then get drawn out for the next offer to “average out” the prespend over both bags. It could be what’s happening here, only time will tell.
if a constance is not considered a quota bag at a particular store (based in the US), would your pre-spend really reset? I was at 1.5x pre-spend, then got offered a birkin shadow clutch, then a constance elan 3mo apart. When I asked if constance was a quota bag at my store when I originally asked about it, my SA said no, but that there would still be some wait as it is a popular bag. I had asked for an Elan specifically as I had seen it on the runway and she said I was offered the first one to come in to my store. Anyways, I just really hope that I don’t have to reset at this point for a quota bag this year! I’ll definitely keep shopping as there are things I want, but totally resetting just feels a bit exhausting!!

From the store’s perspective, you’ve gotten two amazing bags so far this year. This puts your priority for another bag lower than other clients who have gotten no bags. One way to raise your priority is to outspend your competition. Again, prespend doesn’t trigger bag offers, it jockeys your position for an offer when a bag comes in. Saying it “resets” your prespend is the easiest way to get across this concept.

I’ve spent about 16k across RTW, FJ, and shoes in less than a year. Without me bringing it up, my SA mentioned to me they know I’m waiting for a quota bag on my second to last visit (b30/25 k28/25). Do I need to keep spending at least small amounts to maintain my place in the queue or is it just a matter of waiting at this point? Not sure how often I should bring it up

I personally recommend waiting unless something you must, must have shows up at the store eg the perfect shoes in your size. Hope your offer arrives soon!

+1. Although my SA didn’t leave, I had spent 1.5x with them before I switched and spent just under 1.5x with the second. I didn’t ask to be switched, I just stopped going in for like 10 months since I had given up at that point and decided to get my first QB from a reseller. Then when I decided to play the boutique game again, I went back to find a new SA I clicked with. With the new SA, it took me 6 months, and we talked about my wishlist early on. Maybe your wishlist is too specific and yes maybe you need to revisit it and expand it. I honestly know someone who hasn’t been able to get a black mini quota and it’s been 4 years… just other neutrals or pops of colors.

My home store is one of the most competitive ones in the US. I'm waiting for my first QB since early winter 2023 with a healthy prespend ratio at 2.5. My SA has been telling me he is working on my QB a few months ago (I'm trying my best to be patient and the wait seems to be forever). He has been texting me items to see if I'm interested in purchasing every month. I purchase whatever I fancy when he texts...and now, should I hold on purchasing or keep going?

Is the first QB harder to get normally?

What bag are you asking for?
