Hi everyone! I would love some advice,
My old sales associate retired last year in September. I was then assigned a new sa. I have been working with him exclusively since then. During this time , I told him I would love a croc pouchette or a b25 lizard or b25 ostrich.

With my previous sales associate, what I have spent so far would have procured two normal leather quota bags or a bag and a special order. don’t harass him at all for bags, finally today after 8 months we were passing by and my husband said let’s go in and say hi.

We go in and he asks if I was interested in anything, they didn’t have my size so I said I’ll text him a few rtw items later.

I asked him if we could go over my wishlist, he said he has a k28 in Togo leather and a birkin 25 ostrich - I was mind blown as i have mentioned repeatedly I want a croc pouchette or exotic birkin or Kelly and have spent accordingly in my opinion.

I can’t believe I have spent what I have and he has never even offered me a bag….he thinks I want a regular leather and I’m thinking I’m about to be offered a croc bag finally.

My husband then says we leave for summer in 3 weeks and a new bag would be perfect.
We leave making a wishlist of croc pouchette , Kelly 25 and b25 croc /alligator.

He told us before we leave we will have a bag. I’m so mad at myself for not mentioning a bag more often, but I never had to before…with this new sa, I’m sure I’ve mentioned my wishlist more than a few times.

Do I go in and keep buying and then mention my wishlist?
Do I just communicate via text? I’m so confused at our mixed communication
Unfortunately when you switch SAs, even due to no fault of your own, you start over. I’d expect $40k+ in spend to be competitive for the items on your wishlist. Are you there with solely him so far?

He offered you a k28 and a b25 in ostrich, isn’t a b25 in ostrich on your wishlist? Or was the color just not to your liking?

Is your store a big/competitive one? Maybe he hasn’t offered you a croc because none has come through the store, or was reserved for clients w/ higher spend?

I’m there solely with him. I am not counting what I spent with my previous sa. I guess I just don’t have much faith in him. I asked him what is the updated price for a alligator/croc b25 or k25….he said it starts at 20k!!!!!!

I was like even a pouchette is now closer to 30k. Im thinking he has never sold one before?

He has never offered me a quota bag in 8 months. I’m insulted at how much I have spent and he has never even offered me a basic leather bag, I should have had at least 2 regular leather bags if he thought that was on my wishlist

Oh I misunderstood your post. I thought you meant you asked to go over your wishlist, he subsequently told you he had a k28 togo and a b25 ostrich in stock that you can choose between. You meant your SA has those 2 bags as under your wishlist, when you clearly expressed to him before that you want a b25 or pochette in exotics.

He promised the bag within three weeks. I’d wait two weeks and then go in and speak with the store manager if nothing comes to fruition before then.

Yes, there is a clearly a misunderstanding between my sa and I .

I don’t have any advice, but I just wanted to say I’ve been there and it sucks… I know that feeling very well lol. But it sounds like he’s going to try to get something for you so I hope you get that special bag before your vacation!

I could use some advice. My SA left H and I have been working with a new SA since last January. Since that time, I have truly enjoyed working with her, and have spent over 3:1 with her. During my first visit with my new SA, she saw my history and asked me to go over my wishlist. During a recent visit, she even introduced me to the Sales Director, who also asked me about my wish list and my holy grail items, and sent me home that trip with a nice bottle of champagne with my purchases. I am getting antsy because desipte these really nice visits, I have not been offered any bags. I want to be respectful and have not ask directly about when I might receive a bag offer, but given that it is now June, I am getting a bit antsy. I am just not sure how to address this with my new SA because I am still building that relationship. At the same time, I am not going to keep dropping tens of thousands of dollars at H if I am ultimately going to have to buy a bag through different means. I welcome any advice! Thank you!

What does the SA say when you go over your wishlist with them? I'd follow up every visit at this point. "Any update on when I can hope to add one of my wishlist bags to my collection?" etc

She doesn't really say much about it other than general discussion about my wishlist items (we refined the sizes a bit). For instance, which size K or B suit me best, etc. She honestly could not be nicer and always greets me with a hug. I have just been reluctant to confront the issue because I am still getting to know her. But I love how you phrased that and will ask during my next visit. Thank you for being so helpful!!!

You absolutely have to deal directly and straight to the issue! I think almost all SAs appreciate honesty and direct communication. Can you imagine how freaking annoying all of us pussy footing around, passive aggressively communicating must be for them?

Great point! Normally, I'd have no problem but was cautious about doing so because I was trying to build our relationship. But totally agree with you. Definitely hitting it head on next trip! TY!!

Is your wishlist very specific? I was in the exact same situation as you, waiting for my first QB. I got my B25 in just under 4 months with my new SA after about 1:1 spend (prior to that I spent a little under 1.5x with my previous SA).
