I wanted guilloche but was told it was likely not to be approved because what I wanted is too similar to the Seoul exclusive 20 motif… I feel that these SAs are lying now lol

Ahh, how lovely. I was literally talking to the store director earlier today about SOs. She said that hammered is no longer in production. So, it can’t be special ordered anymore. Wondering when you placed your order.

Also, not sure if she meant hammer is no longer in production forever, or if she meant temporarily for a few months. Hmm. I had always thought hammered was a permanent fixture of the Alhambra motifs.

Thank you. It was approved last year around Oct. My SA never told me that hammered will be discontinued, I don’t think it is. I know that production on hammered pieces has been really slow and the waiting list for it is long. Hopefully you can still get them. Goodluck!

Hello I just am looking at the past quotes and I wondered if you ordered it finally ? Any pictures ? As I am thinking of it. My SA proposed to buy 2 bracelets and make them longer to get a 10 motif. The only problem is that they still get the double clasp but she told me it is really not so bad and that some of her clients did so

Hi, I haven't yet! I am still around 15k dollars short of meeting SO minimum spending. I thought by now, I would reach the threshold as I have been desperately wanting to purchase 3 motif earrings but no luck and I do not want to buy things randomly.
Dont get 2 bracelets, just make the SO - I saw couple of beautiful pictures online and they were to die for.

I just had a SO approved for a RG Alhambra bracelet with alternating GMOP and Guilloche motifs! My SA said I should expect it to take 8 months for delivery. My SO for the matching 10-motif necklace is still pending. I learned something new here. I thought my request would be treated as one. Fingers crossed that the necklace is approved!

Yes, I submitted both last June. My SA said the necklace shows in the system as still pending. In fact, I asked for two 10-motif necklaces so that I could link them together or wear one alone. I would be happy with just one necklace. The RG and GMOP look beautiful with dark green and brown. I am a big fan of the clothing brand Akris, which has featured these colors in the last several years. I have the long Magic pendant in RG and GMOP so I know the combination works well. And if VCA doesn’t approve the 10-motif I will still have the long Magic pendant that I can wear with the bracelet.

I see! I wonder if VCA is trying to sus out if there is intention to resell and thus taking longer to review, as some brands such as Hermes with high demand are sensitive to identical purchases. For instance a customer would not be able to get two Birkins with the exact same specifications.
Hopefully your ten motifs are approved soon, the combo would look great double layered!
